ure I had enmough of the B S. Erterhuizn passed a ball tp Hpooker fell shrt and bounced - Hooker knoecked i on and hang onto the ball in the breakdown and penatuy followed Converted by Pollard.

Even with Pollard arou nd the Bulls backline was supershit. Not functioning at all. Nothin g positive when it comes to attackng backline play.

The Sharks backline was slightly better - but still not functioning properly - too many handling errors,

Fact it is a match where ne gatives proved to be real and positives rre to see.

Not as badly as Galant though - can't the Stompies just use Willemse at 15 and get rid of that guy.

Agreed though, Venter was huge yesterday. He is a weapon and it's nice to see the Lions are finally starting to use him like one.

The alions always punches above their weight when playing the Stormers, especially in Cape Town...and yes Plum, Gelant is frustrating to watch...he better trek finger ASAP.

Gelant is shit - not only that - he is supershit. Was quite good in 2023 - but since then garbage.

The Stormers did not want to play Sacha and Willemse in this match and they maight do the same against the Bulls. However, if they play Sacha in Round 8 it will only be his second URC match this season.

They also have problems in the center position with Nel and Du Plessis injured, However. a better option will be to play Matthee at fullback or even ouside center and play Wilemse as inisde center or full back. I rate Matthee as the best flyhaf on URC level at present ahead of Pollard and Hendrikse as well. Incidentally he beats every other flyhalf in the torunament by a proverbial mile - bearing in mind taht Sac ha only had one match in URC thi season. Tje only other URC match that Sacha played in was against Benetton.

If Matthee is so good at Flyhalf, why move him to centre or full back??

Especially with the likes of Joshua Boulle, Johnathan Roche, Luke burger available.

Leave Matthee at Flyhalf, no need to move him anywhere.

Luke burger can play fullback if needed, as he has played there before.

Sacha 10 and Willemse at 12 or Jonathan Roche at 12 with Willemse at 13, can also be tried.

Or Willemse at 15, with Roche and Burger or Boulle as Centre pairing, with Sacha or Matthee at Pivot.

Then there is also Damian Markus. There is plenty of options.
