A superb win that left nothing to chance, with a bit of cream on the cake hitting the longest drive of the day down the daunting 18th with water menacing on the left. He has been very solid for a while now, and with this crucial win under his belt, he should be a factor in the remaining majors. Pinehurst, site of the US open, has playing surfaces very similar to the Cape courses like Royal Cape. He should do well there.
I feel sorry for Luke Donald a delightful chap, who had a chance to get back in the winners' circle this week...but it's a fine win and a career boost for a really talented young golfer.

 Ernie had lots of good things to say about him leading into the Masters...sounds like they had a few practice rounds.

This kid should win a major. Louis and Charl are probably more talented, but also more fragile.....his last drive with the tournament on the line was gutsy.
