Not much time in it but Ozzie wasn't bad in the second half.

BIL job done!

Easy win in the end

Final score 27-19. Aus won the second half 14-10. Pretty dull game, neither side firing too many shots.

At least it did not turn into an embarrassment for Australia.

So here's the Earl tackle that they checked for foul play at the disallowed Suiilllaililli try. The one that O'Tief said "he used both arms" so it's all good. Earl is using both arms to tackle Joseph here, folks. According to ref and concurring TMO.

livetv.sx, they've been down or inaccessible mostly lately MP. Try https://rugbystreams.me/rugby-union-streams, they've got tons of popups and shit so it's a bit of a pain but that's the only other one I know of.

Perhaps the big reason why this game didn't do much to get the senses tingling is because the result wasn't really in doubt. You never got the feeling there's a contest that could go either way. Even though Aus clawed back in the second half as the Lions lost their way, the result felt like a given throughout. Why players like McDermott is on the bench only the staff will know - kinda pointless to lose a match for 60 minutes beyond hope and then send your best players on. Even Donaldson looked far better than Tom Lynagh, who was simply out of his depth and has journeyman written all over him. You're not going to compete with the Lions while picking the likes of Gordon and Lynagh as your frontline pivots.
