To my mind, that offense deserves a lengthy ban. The only excuse he could have is that he momentarily looked at the ball. And if that's the case then it means that you can do anything you like to a jumper as long as you catch a quick glimpse at the ball. Obviously, it was called as "unintentional, yet dangerous". I don't buy it. His best defense, we're it a criminal matter would be negligence. There is intent in negligence. IE You are not aiming a certain outcome but you are intentionally acting negligently while fully aware that your actions could result in a certain eventuality. Dress it up however you like but it's dirty play and probably the most dangerous aspect of the game these days.
