Brycy - Super 15 - bookmakers Odds
I think the Hurricanes are pretty good value at 11-2 considering they were by far the best team last year despite losing the final to the Highlanders.
...a lot of hype around the Argies...do they have the depth I wonder to even be a contender?...once injuries, fatigue etc starts kicking in they will probably struggle....
...and too much class, speed and general awesomeness in the Kiwi sides to see them winning in NZ IMHO so wasting yr hard earned cash there my friends...the thing to remember about sports betting though is that hardly anything ever goes to plan...
The Argentine side has more international players than any other side and they will be a serious contender. Of the NZ sides only the Hurricanes and the Highlanders has a serious chance and I think the former has a problem -they fail to clear the final hurdle.
There are too many All Blacks who either retired or signed foreign contracts and they are going to be a serious minus in teams they used to play for.
I do not rate any of the SA teams to be competitive - so there is my reason for for putting a small bet on the Argentina team.
...not so clevermike, being the Argies first year they're bound to make some rookie mistakes...they also play a very boring brand of rugby like South Africa but not quite as bad....Kiwis will run circles around them just you watch..
checkout who the real favourites are my friend...
Outright Winner
The NZ bookmakers odds are more realistic at 11/1 - the 16/1 on the wider betting sites in the world at is what I regard as unrealistic. You will see the odds tunbling down as the competition develops over the next few months.
JW it must be clear that I o not rate the SA Teams and you will have no need to worry about my attitude in the relevant regard.
..looking at other Super 18 betting options involving SA teams one would think backing the Lions vs Sunwolves - very easy money...

... and surely the Bulls can take out a weak and injury prone Stormers side with no Vermulen, no de Allande and Sevens taking out others- how Bean Brain's team could ever be favourites being one of life's great mysteries...

...then the Sharks demolishing the Kings should be a mere formality..what could go wrong?

Will likely take a treble with the Sharks and Lions the key and the Bulls /Stormers making up the treble. The odds on the treble is likely to be 10/1 to 12/1.
...forgot to mention the Cheetahs playing the Jaguars...
... I hear the Jaguars are also playing a preseason game against the Lions the preceding week and the Stormers may also get a preseason game with the Argies...so will be interesting to see how that all goes..
