Build the Boks around Rohan's offload.

The aptly named Rohan rides over tacklers......he is incredibly hard to bring down cleanly in the first tackle. Get a gas man running off his shoulder to take the offload as he makes that crucial 3 metres in contact....and you have an effective attacking weapon. Think SBW.

 I agree with you here - but there are two other requirements that will make the system work, namely -
*    a proper thinking flyhalf who knows how to get the backline mocing, can read the game and take appropriate decisions; and
*    a strong-running and effective 13.
Not sue who the flyhalf should be - would like to see Van Rensburg outside of Jean-Luc du Plessis - probably the best option based on present performances.   Pollard could be an option - but he will have to show vast improvement on what he achieved in the two games since returning from injury.     Jantjies is poor in tests and does not react well to pressure.   The only other playing flyhalf is Lambie.
At 13 we have only two realistic options - namely De Allende and Vorster.   

An inform Delande combined with Rohan would be the biggest most powerful Bok centre combination ever. They are both around 110KG- very fast and strong in the tackle.Goosen would be choice at 10 if he comes back. Goosen can get his backline running- and he has a boot.
 Perhaps have Delande at inside centre on defence- with Rohan at 12 on attack.

 Prediction:
Rohan will style all year at the Lion's and then when Toetie gets his hands on him he'll suddenly be called a good club player but not test standard. 
Well that's if history is anything to go by, since there were about one or two Boks that came through last year looking like test level players.

I think du Preez may emerge at flyhalf. Physically I think he is a bit more gifted than Jean Luc....and he was outstanding for the Barbarians. He was well on his way this past year before his injury.

 That might be Moz, but at the moment, JLdP still have the promise of something extra. Not there yet, but there are some positive signs....and he has alot of heart. Gutsy player with some unexpected variation.  I know I'm bias, but I see some of the glory WP days in him...and the same effort and heart I saw in Scalla. I really hope he stays fit...missing this coming weekend's matcb already...

 PS, I loke the way Du Preez is given a bit of game time every week.

 Two areas which nullify our attack is the offload in the tackle and the weakness to compete effectively at the breakdown......fix those areas and we'd be highly competitive.
Our players need to understand the importance of keeping the ball alive and not killing the ball in the tackle. There has always been debate around a specialist Fetcher, it's never going to happen, eve ry player should become a specialist.

The lad is a class act but the player that impressed me immensely with his offloads and hands was Vorster at 13....the real deal

 
Janse van Rensburg at 12 with Vorster at 13. No better center pair for the Boks in my opinion.
