Just checked on the betting sites and they have Bulls as favourites against the Stormers. After winning the Currie Cup etc, I would have thought the Stormers would be favourites, even away from home.

I make the Bulls strong favourites.

Acquisitions like Adriaan Strauss and Lappies Labuschagne; the emergence of young talent like Jacques du Plessis, Jesse Kriel and Hanro Liebenberg and the availability of previously injured players like Arno Botha and Pierre Spies mean that the Bulls squad looks a lot stronger than last year.

In contrast, the Stompies look like a combination of has-beens and rookies.

This could go both ways, but I agree that the Bulls are the favourites.  Hoping for a good game. Always a good day of rugby when these two teams go head to head.  GO STORMERS!!!!!!!!!

I can already see the excuses if the Bulls win. Beano1 "It's because they buy all their players from us. The ref was bribed by the evil Bulls executive! Stormers injuries bla bla bla... "

bluebokkie my comments on the game will as always be precise, fair and accurate.
Dont be so sure the bulle will win. With wee victor playing they are handicapped in the tight five. Add in little stegman and wee Arno 103 kg plus werner kruger and the bulle pack is not going to dominate. Duanne, Elstadt and Rhodes will givethem plenty to thing about and at least we are palying two locks. Looking foirard to seeing Kitshof and Kock perform. Scrurra can pla y a loose game and use his speed.

"Dont be so sure the bulle will win".

This is Beeno talk & is him at his most opti mistic, i.e. the usual list of excuses is not included.

I have a feeling ol' tired and warn down weee Matfield will humilate the stormers again this year.

JW try and keep those misleading feelings under control. I see no reason why it is not posssible for the Mighty Stormers to put away the wee bulle.
Rooitwit would reckon on the convent under 13 girls side beating the Stormers given his huge bias. So dont be mislead by him.bluebokkie is crowing already for some reason. Bulle blowhard at work oaks!
matfiled will have a useless game as per usual and hs groupie s will sing his praises as per usual -yaaaaaawn.
