Go bulle fla ten these hapless saracens. I am sad to say a poorly selected WP side left them with a false sense of their ability!

Dave, any idea why Arno Botha isn't in the squad? I thought he was good to go this season?

I think they are easing him in. He played in the last warm up game and got through that, so hopefully he is ok

Here goes Rooi...

The Polokwane clash last year saw a season-ending injury to flanker Arno Botha, but the Springbok this time came through the match with only a tight hamstring. He will be able to train on Tuesday, but will not travel to London where the Bulls take on Saracens this weekend.

Poor things ! That will cramp the muscles !
I remember poor Corne Krige suffering terribly from the cold when he was here with us. I thought he was going to expire on us ! He honestly rivalled me in terms of feeling frozen, I think, and you know how I feel the cold

Thanks Dave. Arno's had enough bad luck with injuries . . . hope he has a big season for the Bulls because he would be a great addition to our RWC squad.

Agreed Rooi, Arno is a class act, we need him fit and playing for the Boks.

Becs I went and watched the touring Dr EG Jansen 1st team playing Colchester Colts a few weeks ago and the poor SA lads really struggled in the pouring rain on a cold evening in the mud.

They looked one hell of a side but the conditions killed them.......they ran in three tries but it was a struggle. They moaned the whole way through the game.

I see Werner still has Marcel firmly benched. Arno has been out so long, he needs to remake his case.

That's the thing, Saffex....conditions here are so different and that is why they have to be taken into consideration when we all pop over to your side of the world too.
That said....we don't flaming moan all the way through the game ! What a bunch of wussies !!

Difference is conditions down south are perfect for rugby while up here they are crap.
