Feel bloody awful - I thought that the bUlls had a chance to win the match until I saw he team Then in Superbru I foreased that the Bulls would lose by 9 points, Not good enough to win and that would do t hem no favor on the log,

B the way is Franco Smit a better coach than Ackermann?

You can’t judge Ackerman yet - he needs time to implement his game

Takes time for the players to adapt to the new coach

Dave it was just a joke question. To my mind Jake contracted players not really up to standard anymore, Willie can be good and awful all in the same match - it looks like Pollard has a problem and did not even shine for the Springboks and Serfontein seemed out of touch and not the player he used to for me the keys to playing atacking ru gby remains to be 10 and 12 and in those two position the contracting by Walsh was shortsighted.

Again, it's not something that a different player here and there is going to fix. Glasgow strangled the Bulls with their rush defense. The Bulls didn't adapt by playing deeper or by putting the ball behind the Glasgow defensive line more. When they did kick it was Willie's cross kicks mostly, but they weren't executed in such a way that they bothered the defense at all. Outside of that the Bulls just kept rolling with their bundled up, flat attack until they ran out of options or the inevitable error or nothing kick came.

Their tries, even the disallowed one, all came from broken play or counters off opposition errors - Jacobs from a poorly covered kick that Basjan exploited, and Willie's try while somewhat structured was again initiated from Glasgow losing possession while attacking. Bulls defense and scrum kept them in the game, and it almost worked for them. If the Arendse try stood they would probably have won, but even that was against the run of play as it was started off Glasgow losing control of the ball while hot on attack on the Bulls 22.

Watching this game again I had the feeling the ref was calling it all one way. Not that calls were necessarily wrong but calls that could have gone the Bools way weren’t made. A ruck near the end two Glascow players went over the top and off their feet…no call. Seconds later the Bools are called at the next ruck.

This wasn’t a bad effort from the Bools, they were unlucky with the Arendse non try. What a player!
