Juju drilled by Vorster. Sharks way too telegraphed.

"That 40 coming up, Rooi."

I should have said margin rather than score. The Sharks second half performance didn't deserve a heavy defeat.

I know I'm clutching at straws here.

Man that spot tackle by Moodie on Julius was emphatic….total domination. I think today settles the Bok 13 question

Papier leading the public vote by a lot. I thought the Bulls centers were brilliant as well, so too Seb.

Agreed Moz.

Moodie has a non-existent error count. So solid. And still only 23.

It'll take some effort to get the Bok jersey form him

Bulls centers outplayed the hapless sharks combo.

Food for thought for Plumpster.

Ackerman has always been a good coach. He did very well with little talent when coaching the Lions.

Just teasing Plumpster. It was one of those days when despite fighting hard the Sharks let it slip. That said the Bulls did have tbe edge.

I am very happy for Johan Ackerman a great rugby man.

Haha I don't have a dog in any of these races, Beeno.

Though, I want Akker to do well and since Swys' son has joined him things have started to look up.

There is something rotten at the Sharks. Don't know what it is but something don't smell right.

And Dobbo down there at the Stormers still seems happy to play the Gelant way, which is annoying because then a team like the Lions can beat you by simply doing the basics.

Well done, Bulls. What a score. Not the Sharks’ day today.

I can’t believe Ox couldn’t really take advantage in the scrum against Morne Smith, especially with Wilco only coming on as a replacement in the second half.

Esterhuizen, as always, gave everything, and his power is scary. Jason Jenkins also had a good game.

Did you guys see how Andre bumped Elrigh Louw off ? Ambrose Papier, Seb de Klerk, David Kriel, Harold Voster, Nizaam Carr, Elrigh Louw, Canan Moodie, Marcel Coetzee, and Wilco all had good games.

Canan Moodie’s patience to score that try shows how he has matured. He has to start most of the Bok tests at 13, with AE at 12.

The Sharks wins over what now turns out to be a pretty hopeless Stormers side papered over many cracks - and when we're honest about it, they didn't play particularly good rugby in those games. It was grindy stuff.

There are no combinations in this team. That's why the Bulls centers stood out. Vorster played about the perfect game at 12, I can't remember him making one mistake or taking one bad option. The way he identified space on the inside and ran into it for Moodie's first try set the tone for the rest of his game.

I see little difference between yesterday's Sharks and the Plumtree Sharks. It's like every player is playing his own game, their defense is a shambles and their basic error rate way too high. And as Plummie observed, there's no fire in their bellies outside of maybe Esterhuizen.

One struggles to understand why they appear so hapless.

The Bools have just as many Boks.

Perhaps it could be that when you have that many Boks you simply need an authoritarian coach who doesn't give a damn about your reputation. Jake was that kind of guy and so is Akker.

Plumtree was likely a soft touch and JP, being relatively young, might not be the hard nose they need either.

Things are defos looking up for the Leeus though. Crappies is playing some

great rugby and the two Horns' stock just keeps rising. How many weeks do we have to wait to see Quan make a bad call!? The boy has a rugby brain par excellence.

Plumpster I am not sure AE is the answer at 12. Vorster outplayed him.

Does a backline with AE at 12 really work. People think because AE is hard to bring down he is great but what does it all lead too. Perhaps somebody should be on hand to take the off load when AE makes his half breaks.

Lets see what Rassie does

Canaan Moodie was also good. Very quick thinker.

See what Rassie comes up with.

Ackermann has his best backline players on the field and it worked pretty well.

BUT some good news for the Sharks. Eben is back. Now that will make a real difference. He should be raring to go after a good rest. He and Jason Jenkins are a formidable lock combo and this cold set the sharks pack alight.

Is it too late?

Somebody needs to fire up OX as for some time he has not performed as well as one would think he can play. Coasting.

If you pay attention to what happened on the field and what we said after every Esterhuizen carry over the gainline...4 carries lead to two tries during the same sequence of phases, almost three but for that final forward pass, and another that ended right on the Bulls line. As we kept saying in the thread, every time Esterhuizen took it through the first tackler the Sharks got unstoppable momentum. If you can't see "what it all leads to", you're not paying attention beyond the tackle.

Indeed Beeno, check the highlights and you will see it's AE that consistently provided jsut about the only momentum that lead to anything for the Sharks.
