 Canes have had some good attacking moves & finally get a reward with a penalty. 8-6 to landers after 20 mins.

 Canes on attack again but comes to an end with a penalty. A very evenly matched game so far. Canes are finally playing like they can.

 11-6 after 33 mins. Landers still lead in spite of some good play by canes. Landers scrum was crushed.

Beeno of course is too chicken to watch rugby these days. I guess he is in the dungeon Ed the Administrator constructed for him.

Everybody on both teams trying to outdo everybody else in the number of mistakes they can make.  A boring match - too many handling and other errors to make it an interesting game thus far.
If one bears in mind how the Brumbies wiped the floor with the Hurricanes last week - and the way the Hurricanes keep the Highlanders at bay - then one wonders whether the Highlanders will go once they have to meet a team from outside of NZ

 CleverMike, play is pretty lose but entertaining. The error rate should get better but the conditions are very humid.

 14-6 as the landers convert a penalty. Canes are starting to look like the Canes of old (before last year) . A lot of running rugby but little to show for it.

 Canes finally get a try & mainly through the forwards with pick & goes.

Landers win a thriller 17-16. Congrats to them, Canes had their chances but too many errors.

My problem is that errors do not get better - they get worse when teams are under pressure.  
However. I cannot believe that 3 NZ teams have 5 points - 1 has 4 points and one 1 point.   So what they managed to do is beat themselves - they lost both matches against foreign teams.  Not looking good for the NZ team after round 2.  

 Early days yet CleverMike. SA teams are weak but they can always hope for a lucky bounce of the ball.

If there was lucky bounce of the ball - it favoured the Chiefs this morning and lose by only 4 points - they were atrocious.
