Cheetahs are leading 20-16 at half time. However the very bad news is that Lood may have broken his arm and Beast went off with knee issue.

Cheetahs front row doing very well even when beast was on. Britz showed his speed in creating try. He has a future at 8.

The sharks try was highly dubious with the ref getting in the way of the Cheetahs tackler cook! Try to sharks should not have been given. Mallet agrees with Beeno!

Lambie having a good game and Steph very good.

Amazingly Naka has managed to cobble together a team!!! Loosing Lood will be a terrible blow.

Consensus is with Beeno. Naas and Mallet say Cheetahs have had a very good first half. Jannie ahs been under pressure. Go Cheetahs!

Cheetahs win it, showed good defense in the end in spite of Le Roux screw-ups. Congrats to the Cheetah fans.

Man JW Iwas watching the tape!
This is bad really in the long term as it is doubtful Cheetahs can mount a long term challenge whereas the Sharks can.

Bad for SA teams but good for Kiwi teams. Still it is only the first weekend of the season so nothing to get too excited about.
