This was the worst rubbish I have seen for years and the problem must be dealt with comprehensively.
The problem started with Jantjies - in the first half he constantly took up a postion as center - with the flyhalf berth be left to Van Rensburg or Vorster.   What was he doing on the field of play?
For the rest he was utterly useless and Zeilanga outplayed him comprehensively.   Fact is Zeilinga was made the MOM.    Jantjies should never be in any team - the Lions backline  started to function better when Jantjies and De Klerk was replaced - one wonders why?
Marx line out throw-in was poor, but he had a reasonable game in the Tight 5.   Mostert at lock was nowhere to be seen and Kriel and Whiteley was poor.   Ackerman was the best loosie on the field.
Positive points and there was very little to be psoitiv about was Van Rnsburg and Vorster at center and Mapoe made one good play.
The Lions is not going to go anywhere playing the game they played today.

The first 10 minutes was pretty good, then it fell apart- and I fell asleep.
There is going to be some really substandard teams in the tournament.
The Kings will be useless, and the Wild Knights do no seem much better.
