CHIEFS TEACH BRUMBIES A HARSH LESSON; Rugby 365

REPORT: THE CHIEFS AGAIN DISPLAYED THEIR CHAMPIONSHIP POTENTIAL WHEN THEY TAUGHT THE BRUMBIES A HARSH LESSON IN CANBERRA ON SATURDAY.

The Chiefs, two-time champions, outscored the home side by six tries to two in a sublime display of pace, power and precision.

This was achieved despite a wonky scrum, the only aspect of the game where the Brumbies had the edge.

The result means the Chiefs reclaim first place on the competition standings, which they conceded to the defending-champion Highlanders 24 hours earlier.

 Mate. How good are those mighty, mighty Chiefs. Who gives a shit about the scrum if win by more than 20 points against an alleged championship contender. 

 Retall ick & Bird will be ready to come back next week I believe. Will the be on the bench or start? The guys who have been filling in have done a great job so replacing them would be harsh. I guess he will explain it as "rotation" in the interest of the team. Good problem to have.
