No easing him in off the bench.....the minute he qualifies he walks straight into the starting line-up.

What a loss to SA and huge gain for Ireland

Selections like this piss me off no end......he should be the new Bok captain

CJ made his choice, and it wasn't SA.
U20 Springbok captain, Bulls S15, first Springbok training squad and he signed to go overseas a little while later.
Blame the situation in SA. First real Test level young talent we have lost, at least it was in a position where we have good depth. Hopefully this doesn't become a trend but hard to blame a young person for making the same choice.

This is entirely Meyers fault - I am afraid.  Meyer got stuck on Alberts as his no 7 - despite the fact that Alberts was putrid.   He totally ignored  Stander and was very dismissive as to the potential of the guy.   He was the only one of the Bulls team of 2012 that at one stage or another did not serve in the Meyer squad.
That was a clear indication that he had no future in SA Rugby and he made the inevitable choice to go to Ireland. All that to cater for a dismal failure like Alberts.

Mike, not Meyer, CJ was forever not going to play for SA....regardless of what Dave heard.

Klop, he was a laaitie when he decided to head overseas . Whatever his reasons, its obvious that he never had a passionate desire to play for the Bokke .

Remind me again how  Ireland did at the WC.....oh yes, they got thrashed by the Bargies, who got thrashed by us. So why should the fact that they have picked Stander have any bearing on us?
Beats me.

 Right on "queue" (sic).
Wehe.
Just how ignorant is this pompous old fool?
No doubt he'll be along shortly (right on cue in fact) claiming that his way is the way they spell it in some obscure neighbourhood in Chicago or else he'll be claiming it was a "typo" and his finger missed the "c" button and hit "que" instead . . . anything rather than admit he's poorly educated and not very  well read.

Rooi, although I'm not a fan of the running fight between Moz&Mike, the "queue" was a bit obvious to me.
PS, Moz, Queen is my favorite band of all time, don't you think "queen" is a dated term?

Dread, I'm sure the embarrassing mistake was obvious to anyone who's either read a book or two or else received an adequate education.

I wonder if the ignorant Moffie or his Gimp can find a comment of mine where I said I stood in a queue.
The same self-righteous tossers always get very indignant when our Maaik or anyone else misquotes them or puts words in their mouths . . . I wonder if it works both ways?
Let's see if either one has the integrity or the courage to back up his claim with some substance. My guess is they won't.

Well let's quote you lush:
'...the queue for a beer was almost an hour. Pathetic! If you were patient enough to stand in a queue that long for a drink then the queue for the toilets later was also about half an hour.'

How would you know the queue for the toilets was half an hour if you hadn't gone through it....or do we have to add lurking in toilets to your long list of vices?
Screwed by your own words Mong. It's obvious you were moaning about how long you had to queue, but queue you did.
