Statement from Scott Robertson.

“Coaching the All Blacks has been the honour of my life. I am incredibly proud of what this team has achieved and of the progress we have made. We have brought through a talented group of young players, strengthened the depth across the squad, and set solid foundations for the years ahead.

“Following the end of year review I have taken time to reflect on some of the feedback. My priority has always been the success of the All Blacks and, after discussions with New Zealand Rugby, I believe it is in the best interests of the team for me to step aside.

“I have therefore reached an agreement with New Zealand Rugby to end my contract early so a new coaching group has the time it needs to prepare and take the team into the next World Cup.

“As you can imagine, I am gutted by this outcome. I care deeply about this team.

“Given the sensitivity of this situation I will not be making any further comment

Not so classy:

In a recent burst of social media frenzy, Springboks head coach Rassie Erasmus has stirred the pot yet again. This time, his target was none other than the coaching upheaval in New Zealand, following Scott Robertson's controversial exit from the All Blacks. Erasmus' playful post featuring Tony Brown's face superimposed on a cinematic Leonardo DiCaprio, declaring 'I’m not leaving', might have tickled some, but not everyone's laughing.

New Zealand's rugby punditry has fired back, with Scotty Stevenson calling Erasmus' antics "childish" and disrespectful. "Rassie Erasmus’ AI post of Tony Brown was childish. I think it does a coaching compatriot in Scott Robertson a massive disservice as well, but that’s stirring the pot and grist for the mill,"

Spot on Draad fuck me if you can’t work out that that is a joke then there is no hope

That had fuck all to do with Razor and everything to do with Brown potentially leaving to rejoin Jamie Joseph, the favourite to replace Razor

Rassie was merely joking that his man Brown was not leaving

Get a life

Moffie calling out Rassie's class and/or character because of a playful meme speaks volumes about his hatred for the man and his obsessive need to prove that he is right about . . . ummm . . . mounting a hate campaign against the two-time RWC-winning coach (soon to be three-time!).

But what sets Moffie apart is his truly stinking hypocrisy, given that this same drunken old fool also worships at the shrine of Bozo, the person with the least amount of class or character of any man in history.

An attempted joke…I doubt Tony Brown, who is in an exceptionally tricky situation is laughing. But of course it takes a bit of intelligence to realize that a NZ coach helping the old enemy is in a tough spot at this time of AB crisis. But hey, as long as Geraasmus can enjoy his hee haw humor, why bother about Tony.

Congrats to Mozzie for supporting America's greatest president Donald J Trump. I hope all you extreme mamparas will try your best to try and understand what happens at Davos. I guess I will be tutoring once again.as the mamparas struggle with even simple things!

Regarding Rassie, South Africa's greatest coach, I suspect Mozzie only posted the "Class defined" post so he could thereafter draw a false comparison with Rassie. Mozzie is obsessed and has a very sever case of RDS.

The following is Bowns statement on the issue o uture coaching:-

"The 51-year-old former All Black flyhalf cleared any doubts on his coaching future, stating that he is locked in with the Boks and that there has been no contact from New Zealand Rugby.

“I’m obviously contracted,” Brown told Paul Cully from The Post on Monday.

“I don’t have an out of my contract, so I’m back in South Africa [until the 2027 World Cup].

Brown rubbished the talk of joining the All Blacks as ‘speculation’ when asked if he would be keen to return to New Zealand as an assistant coach for the national side.

“Everything’s just speculation. I’m not even sure what New Zealand Rugby’s plans are. No one’s really heard anything,” Brown said."

It obviously was a jibe at the media speculation on the Brown issue, I sympathie with Robertson - he was handed a shit situation and is now fired because of issues he has no control over, I think Bown is fully aware of the rotten situation involved and what Mozart wrote above is derious BS.as expected, Robrtson is a good coach left struggling in a bad environment,

Wish the Sharks offer him a contract for three seasons - he would add value a lot in the coaching sphere in an environment where he would have freedom to enhance his coaching experience and expertise,

Yeah I’m sure Tony Brown can’t stand Rassie and is really pissed off with him for comically endorsing him and telling the world he is not leaving us

Shame on Rassie, how disgraceful - what a nasty man he is, how dare he want Tony to stay with him in a self induced Kiwi crisis

Now Dave point out where I said Brown can’t stand Geraasmus…huh….no you can’t find it? That’s because I said Geraasmus with his usual great tact, shone a light on an issue I’m sure Brown would prefer to play down at this time.

I think it’s pretty obvious that if I had a valuable man on board and rumours were circulating that I might potentially lose him, I’d definitely have something to say about wanting to retain him. Rassie did just that, cushioned in a comical way.

It shows how much Rassie values Tony. Well played Rassie as usual

I normally don't side with the Kiwis, but on this occasion I have to say that Saffas would be pissed at being kicked while down too.

I'd also be careful because a cornered animal is a dangerous thing.

The set-up to this series in a few months is honestly like a movie. Pity about the bland 2024 matches because the WC final had everything a final in a film should have. The 2025 RC, with the ABs defending Eden against the Bok Old Guard and then being blown away in the second game was a perfect filler film and then this incoming series has the makings of something great. Everything is against the ABs. From recent results to losing their coach, player and administrative concerns...it must seem the like the universe is conspiring again them.

...imagine they pull off a series win!?

As massive a Bok fan as I am, and as much as every victory over them is sweet as hell, I find a small part of myself wanting them to have success here!!!??? It's the underdog thing and I can't help it.

Does anybody have some advice?

Plumpster try being a whole hearted Bok supporter. Us full on Bok supporters have clear minds and never have tie ourselves up in knots. We can actually enjoy all our wins and the success of the coach and players and do not find the need to be complaining night and day about the Boks.

It all leads to a much happier life etc.

Just saying!

Geraaasmus’ comment was low class gloating….more appropriate for drunk fans in the pub than the Head Of Rugby of the world’s premier nation. Can you imagine a classy guy like Joe Schmidt doing this or even Razor doing this if the boot was on the other foot. Actually can you imagine any national coach pulling this ‘joke’.

And then there’s Vaccine, always telling others to leave refs alone but fully supporting the coach who made the most infamous attack on refs in the history of rugby. Stupid is forever

Dave, just laugh at moffie when he talks about class. He doesn't have any so how the hell can he define it.

His idea about class is to brag about the cars and the houses that he owns. eating at a fancy restaurant where the heavily overpriced sauced steak is a thousand dollars a pot, taking a photo of the menu and posting it on a rugby message board. And just bye the bye how he brags about his stunning career over and over again just to make him feel better and to make everyone else feel a lesser person.

You have to remember that the childish, classless and hate filled misery has no friends, the closest he has to any is on this message board. Besides, Americans generally wont spare him an ear, they're too full of their own self importance.

How can we forget, the jacket, the shirt, the button, the jacket again and again, the colour of the button, the size of the button, the tie, the color of the tie......Hell the agony of it lasting for months on end, if not for years. All of that from someone who boasts a PHD......now if that wasn't childish and stupid then pray tell me what is.

My advice.....laugh at him ....... that's all he's worth.

Oh.....and just before I sign off I have to do a spellcheck, it's a must......I don't want to infuriate our resident Grammar Nazi.
