You cannot help it - now can you? De Jongh did squat in the whole game - but make one break that ended up with nothing - and he gets a mention.
Now lets face a few facts from that game:-
* The first person deserving mention as captain of the Bulls is Victor Matfield and the question arises what did he do on the field of play today? Virtually nothing. He is pushed out of the way so easily that one could say he is a puppet. With him occupying a lock position - the Bulls unfortunately has 14 players and a useless dummy
* Pollard did not have a good enough game - he kicked far too often - but that is what you get from rubbish instructions from the coach.
* Serfontein was average, comprehensively outplayed by De Allende - Engelbrecht was way below par.
* Of the loosies on display there are only two who deserve mention - Vermeulen and Labuschagne.
* The Bulls props are useless and they were pushed all over the show by K och and Kitshof.

I sense your pain Mike, but please quote the reporter correctly...it was a "brilliant" break.

Not pain - pure facts, Lets look at the stats of the players coincerned:-
de Jongh0/000/0/32712004/00/000/0
As mentioned one line break making about 20 meters for the rest squat - zero -- nothing.
de Allende0/101/4/115717026/11/020/0
Excellent performance even through you try and claim otherwise.
Matfield0/000/3/71500118/32/000/0
Making 6 tackles - missing 3. and for the rest he was bloody useless, Is he supposed to be the line out supremo in SA? He did squat in the EOYT and less on Saturday. The line-outy story is one - the rest is how he got pushed out of the way by all and sundry.
Vermeulen1/050/1/103314015/01/000/0
Very good try - helped along by De Allende whose pass to him created the space for him to score.
Labuschagne0/000/5/925001117/11/010/0
Vewry good performance - he had to do the work Matfield and the other loosies failed to do.
NO PAIN - PURE FACTS

Looks like de Jongh made 100 per cent of his tackles and de Allende 86 per cent. De Jongh gaiined 9 metres a carry....De Allende 5. Here's the thing Mike, it's best not to quote the stats when you can't figure out that they disprove your point.

Moz I hope you're not arguing that De Jong played better than De Allende, for your sake...
