When the bookies suspend all bets on Coetzee you know someone has received a hot tip.

If we are going to have a South African coach- we could do allot worse than Coetzee. Unfortunately, most of our coaches are useless at coaching backline play. At least the Stormers have realised this fact- and are looking for outside influence.
The Sharks, unfortunately, are stuck with the useless Gary Gold. Gary Gold most famous quote is that all up and under kicks are 50/50. The fool does not realize that this is only the case- when the kick is a good one.

Coetzee? This seems a bit like out of the pan into the fire. Meyer is not not as bad as his assistants make him look. That brother who coaches the backline is a no good guy - I know him mos from long ago. Coetzee I am afraid is not the answer. Bigger problems are the structures and franchises and the mismanagement of the politicians who are running (ruining) SARU. Coetzee never achieved great heights with the Stormers even though he had a very talented bunch of players. Coetzee is just another carbon copy of de Villiers - with practice he can even achieve the same vocal heights with his piepstemmetjie. The Springboks need a Kiwi coach not another windowdresser.

That is going to be as Freddie said a real bloody fiasco. We need a coach - not a BEE appointment to please the politicians. Look what he did all on his own with the Stormers backline, The man is utterly clueless about backline play and his selections were dreadfully poor.
What the hell is wrong with SARU? I should rather say what is right with that lot - the answer would be very precise and short - nothing. When it comes to the answer to question 1 a book can be written about them.

Doesn't much matter who coaches the Boks....we have no wings, no scrummies, weak centres, no tightheads and no new test qualified loosies. HM getting us within two points of beating the ABs at the WC was in itself a minor miracle.
The talent is not there at this time....the big question is whether this is tempo rary or the new normal.

BS as per normal from Mozart - the fact is we dwelt in the past and selected players who should not have been anywhere near the team for years now and then we wonder why we cannot play winning rugby.
