What a great day of soccer. We had the simultaneous coverage of all the games on at one point, a feast of continuous action. But the main course was Tottenham vs Chelsea, and the confirmation that Harry Kane  is a mega talent....great ball control, Hoddle like passes and lethal finishing. For the first time since Bale,  Spurs are an exciting team.


They also have a few bigger lads who are strong on the ball and defending corners. Not quite top three yet, but looking like they might get there.

Harry Kane is certainly one hell of a talent, a bit of a late bloomer but he's come on leaps and bounds and is about as complete as a striker can get.

Glen Hoddle Hmmm....my, that's winding the clock and then some. Thing I admired most about him was his pin-point accuracy of distribution and how well he read the game. Goes to show your long association with 'Spurs if you can dig out an old faithful in Hoddle.

A mid fielder and a forward, but they both have/ had the ability to split the defence with touch. Hoddle  was the master, but Kane  clearly delights in making a great pass.
Right now I'm watching ice hockey and Patrick Kane play for the Hawks vs Wahington....another delightful guy to watch.
Something about these Kanes.

Yeah I watched that with my son as he is a big Spurs fan......he was going through the roof every time they scored.
