The great man Bakkies has been short changed by the fraud wee mafiled 108kg tops.

Imagine having two locks like Bakkies in your second row. That's right stinker group the second row comes after the first row.  Hahahahahahhahahahaha but a tip for you is the the number 8 is not the first row!

Stick with Beeno and get it right oaks.

‘Real enforcer’ Bakkies Botha humbled by Bernard Laporte ‘greatest’ remark

CAPE TOWN - Bakkies Botha may have been a ‘meanie’ on the rugby pitch, but he has shown his emotional side too in paying tribute to his former Toulon coach Bernard Laporte.

In a recent interview with beINSports TV channel in France, Laporte – who is the current World Rugby vice-chairman and president of the French Rugby Federation – praised the Springbok hard man during his time at Toulon from 2011 to 2015.

It was a trophy-filled time for the club, with three consecutive European Cup titles in 2013, 2014 and 2015, as well as the 2014 French Top 14.

When looking back on his favourite players, Laporte – who is also a former French national team coach, said: “Bakkies Botha is the greatest player I have coached in my career. Of course difficult to compare because Jonny Wilkinson was excellent, Matt Giteau was monstrous, but Bakkies was so strong physically.

“And I would have liked so much to be like him on the field to scare everyone and smash everyone. As a player, I’d say Bakkies Botha was my idol.

“He arrived in Toulon at the same time as me. At the time of his departure from the club, he called to tell me he wanted to see me. He shook my hand when we met and told me he didn’t know if we were going to meet again, but he wanted to tell me that I had been the best coach he had ever had.

“I was crying! I wondered how a guy like him, with 90 caps for the Springboks and someone who has seen it all and who was a world champion can tell me that. I still have tears in my eyes when I think of that moment.”

On Wednesday, former No 4 lock Botha – who won Super Rugby and Currie Cup titles with the Bulls, and played 85 Tests for the Boks from 2002 to 2014 – responded with a quintessential ‘Bakkies message’ to Laporte.

“I have always thought of myself of a kind, but to read a special man like @BernardLaporte_ say I was the best player he ever coached made me feel humbled but also proud. I went to @rugbytoulon_ to create rugby history and we did. Regards and Blessings THE REAL ENFORCER”

Botha, now 41, retired from all rugby in 2015 after bowing out of the Test scene in November 2014, and has established a butcher business and is also involved in farming.

Like it very much  - but Mozart and the kindergarten Imbecile do not understand 75%  of what is required in a rugby game - hence their hatred of Du Toit and De Allende.

And there I was thinking Westwood looked like a butcher. I’m sure Bakkies will do well though carving that beef.

But to the point being made.  Bakkies points the way to Etzebeth, not to the failed lock Dud Toit. Without Etzebeth you can kiss Bok success goodbye.

Under Coetzee, when Eben was more of a focal point, the Boks were more incisive. His figures at that point where vastly superior to that of Steph or Lood. We haven't really gotten the most out of him, and that's a typical Bok tragedy.

We are truly blessed to have a great player like Bulle-Bakkies be replaced by a player of Eben Etzebeth's caliber...and have RG as a replacement/partner for Eben...not to mention our World class front rows!...we are smashers...The Hulk would be so envious?

Mozart

So Malherbe  is not the belly-flopper you have attacked constantly four five years on the site  in the past?    I am horrified - anybody supported by you as a player must be  in decline.

If you support him I will have to take another look at him - since you have never supported performing players in  the past.   After seven years of attacking him what you wrote  now is surprising since it never happened before,

Well he never performed before....maybe the belly flopping was getting old. In any case I always judge on performance, not  on the Boere old boys network.

Lying is an abomination - you know.  I excuse you because your player selection and support remains clueless.         .

Malherbe’ s father and Bosman’s mother. It’s a joke Draad, not an insult to your race and a 100000 years of Boere. If you want to see an insult to you Boere watch the new South African movie....Moffie. Moffie, I kid you not.

I was curious, I don't take offence that easily...I don't even mind being called a Dutchie or worse..., it would depend on the attitude of the user...was actually hoping for some clandestine Broederbond connections of Ou Maaik?

Ag don’t worry Draad, I even have a few Boere in my genetic closet...it’s concerning, but apparently manageable.

Ja old rooichocolate wouldn’t miss the movie. I watched it because the write up suggested one might see a bit of South African basic training and the Angolan war.

It was total rubbish....our training wasn’t a lurid version of Full Metal Jacket which Moffie shamelessly aped, with a bit of the Octopus movie thrown in for good measure..

Nor were the relationships ....human to human...ever as radical as suggested in that piece of rubbish. We actually had two Afrikaans homosexual boys in my dorm at the Navy Gym. They were not persecuted in any sense.

And the hostile attitude to a complete stranger at railway station, who happened to be black, doesn’t square with anything I ever saw in the military.
