Crusaders must be better than I though for them to be beating the best 23 players in the world by 17 points

“Posted by: Beeno1 (24296 posts) Mar 03, 2018, 10:09 Shocking defence by Stormers. I recall the days of Nienaber when nobody scored against the Stormers.” That was also the days when the Stormers scored tries against nobody.

Have Stormers scored? Another old crust sent off. Down to 13 and Stormers have another chance.

Congrats Saders. Much better last hour by the Stormers....pack looking good.

Ref made a couple of errors, but it did not influence the result.

Also why didnt the game end when we held them up at the end there?

The player took the penalty tap1m out from the line so how come they got another shot at it?

Stormers were definitly a different team after half time, showed some resolve at the end for sure.

Should give them some confidence for next week against the Highlanders

The Crusaders won - but not by as much as I feared.   They won the game with their backline players - there forwards are not as good as expected.

I can now see why the Storners started with Van Rensburg - Wyatt Crocket is a poor scrummagger and the Stormers on the whole made mince-meat of their scrum while Crockett was on the field.

Three of the Stormers tries were scored by their props.   It remains to be seen what the Stoprmers are going to do with their backline.   Neither Senatla nor Rhule is good enough to be in the team.   Senatla should play sevens - he is not good enough to play in the 14 man game - but a top class sevens player and Rhule should be sent back to the Cheetahs.

The only backline player worth his salt today was De Allende - who actually had a very good match.

Crusaders hang on.Old Crusts had 26  points after horrendous  start by Stormers leaking tries and  bungling their own opportunities. But after the first 20 minutes or so the game changed and Stormers dominated game. Their forwards completely out played the old crust. So much for ou maaaaikies 40 point win by old crusts. These old crusts can count themselves lucky Stormers started so badly.Stormers need Bongi, Malherbe, Eben Vermaak and Willemse/Duplessis back. Will make a huge diffference. Also get rid of powder puff Senatla. Great sevens player but cant cut it at this level. Start with Phillips at scrummie next game.Anyhow the chest beating blowhards earned mountains of EGG! Hahahahahahahahaha

Ou maaaikie Fleck should be ashamed that his selected backs had nothing to offer on attack. No creativity whatsoever.

The old crust pack got spannered! Hahahahhaha

The Stormers should hav e scored at the end. That would have made it a ten point loss. Then consider all their blundered tries.

Err Beendip your side lost and you couldnt score against 13 1m out from the try line.

Even when you got to within 10 points you didnt look like winning, Crusaders just went back to basics and strolled away again..

Once we get Franks, Todd, Moody, Read etc back then lets see how your forward pack fares.

Try JJ and Leyds as your wings. Why the heck do these twits not play JJ in his best position.

Then start Phillips. Viljoen not shining but who is better.

Swop Senatla for W erner Kok

Draad there was very little deep on the line kicking from Duvenage and from Leyds. Injuries have messed up our side. The loss of Du Preez was huge.

Well ... hats of to BeanDip. He's a Stormers man through and through ... even when we see pathetic attempts like that.

Makes me think of my days as a Lions man. The only one around in those days. Then they started winning ... and suddenly Lions "fans" came out of the woodwork ... in their thousands ... all apparently "loyal" to their last breath ... till you found a Bulls jersey in their closet.
