....Wales/Italy being the 7th and 14th ranked teams on the Planet. Well, while Pet Lambie and Kobus Raainag were the partnership......we were losing by 18 points to 14. Is the penny beginning to drop.....these two hyped chappies are never going to lead the Boks to victory in the RWC.

 

Some may counter and say that they did a good job as subs in the RC. True. But there is a vast difference between shaping a game and coming on at the end against tired opposition. We need a cou rageous, mature half back pair....and it's not the munchkins from Natal.

Still the same BS - Reinach and Lambie caused the poor perormance against Italy and the loss against Wales.
Just a counter-question.   T he worst show put up against  Wales was in Nelspruit - where only a last minute try saved the Springboks from utter humiliation - who was the scrummie and flyhalf in that game?   Saturdays defeat came from penalties given away mainly by the forwards being converted - the Nelspruit  debacle came from a team of geriatrics who should never have been anywhere near the team.

So no real come back. Still what can you say....we  trail two lowly teams while the munchkins are on and Lambie / Raainag average a generous 6 against Wales...their  direct opponents average an 8. And they want us to believe the munchkins never contributed to the loss.

 The difference being while Matfield was on the park the score was 28 to 18 in our favour.

Precisely and the cumulative score was 28 to 18 vs the score of 14 to 18 while the Raainag/ Lambie combination were together.

It's not about combinations it's about wrong selections.....the common denominator is Matfield  who spent all 80 min on the field in our losses to Oz, NZ, Wales and Ireland....not to mention the other matches in the year we snuck in.
He is the biggest liability in that side.....not only on a playing front but also leadership where he appears to undermine Jean.
Matfield  looks in charge on the field....its wrong

 Jawellnofine Dawie, Meyer kept him on the park for 80 minutes in all em matches simply because they're tjommies, absolutely nough t to do with ability . Shock horror .
