That's brilliant Augie....I have watched a bit....but I'll big screen it later. Did see the famous 7 metre tackle though. In just the little time I watched it's amazing how little offloading there is.....often when there's a man waiting for the ball. The instinctis is just to plough on and die with the ball.

This is every run, every tackle, every pass, every defensive pressure, every ruck clean, every counter ruck, every kick chase, every restart, every kick-off, every high ball, every score, every penalty, every maul, every supportive running line. His entire 2018 test season . Ende.

Stick around, you might learn something. It isn't just Damian, there are entire attacking movements. A nice insight into Rassie's Boks.

Augie my guess is Allende, Kriel, Pollard and Stephanie are all guilty of dying with the ball. They all need to make an effort to keep their feet in the tackle and look for the offload, vs plunging forward and killing the ball. Your video shows that in movement after movement. This was something Rassie was supposed to fix.....but we are still in the dark ages. Worst of them all Allende and his fruitless tractoring.

... and off goes Poepol ... once again ... ducking for cover ... avoiding me ... lots to say ... many to point his fingers at ... keen to criticize ... and yet he doesn't even have a starting 15 ... never mind a match 23,

Haaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaaa!!
Shall I simplify it for you, Poepies ... how about your pack ... we can work on their bench cover later ... you know, baby steps

Haaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaaaa!!

Ok ... maybe that's too steep a hill to climb ... lets start with something a little less intimidating ... how about your loosehead prop and his cover ... ?? Ok?

Common ... I'm waiting ... come teach me something, Poepoltjie ...

That moment when 2CC thinks he is a Bugatti.

I have discussed team selection at length many times over the past seven months. You'll do well to keep a steady course of exelon in future. At present, we'll see after Super rugby.

Nah. I don’t trust this one bit. This video is all manipulated BS from different angles to suit Aug’s anti-Damian agenda. Ask Ou Maaikie. He will explain it alll.

Ok ... so I guess we shouldn't expect any selections from Poepol ... he has none to offer ... much like Moffie.

The same kind of loudmouth ...

Sorry Poepol ... I must have missed those "discussions" ... specially after I read your posts on how wonderful Morne is in comparison to Carter ... you know, the Mohohe vs McCaw "dicussion" ...not to forget how much better the Nik Naks man is to Folau ... etc ...

Kinda had a little difficulty staying focused on the rest of your assessments ...

You're straining too hard, careful you don't prolapse 2CC.

As per Morné being better than Carter, show me where I said that. Likewise, the rest is fabricated baloney. I did say Kirchner had a better 2013 RC. This confirmed by the Aussie media. Lügnerin and yourself have been left bloody nosed on the subject a few times. No surprise you fail to learn yet more.

Another thing, a symptom of fantasy narks: thinking rugby is a long list of names on a sheet of paper. If that is the extent of your rugby acumen - it's actually significantly less - then you are well out of your depth.

This is the part where you swell up like a thumb hit with a hammer and give yourself Chinese burns in a fit of frustration.

PS: Who is the GOAT of GOATS? Damian?

I wonder if this Morne better than Carter nonsense doesn't stem from a statistical comparison I did a few years ago in this thread. Watch the hysteria ensue.

In later threads my analysis there was used as a basis to accuse me of rating Morne a better flyhalf than Carter, which of course I never did. I simply showed he was far better in certain areas of his game than some people claimed.

That's a pretty sad sight Pakie. Demonstrating perfectly the immaturity we deal with from the same old faces. Time hasn't amounted to any maturation.

Interestingly, a similar thing was done against me. Lügnerin issued fourth his "golden rules" of kicking. I used two tests against Australia to expose his golden rules, then he shifted the goal posts and proclaimed that I "hate" Folau, that I think he is the worst fullback in world rugby and that Kirchner was the best. The immature embellish everything to distort the truth. Embellish, or outright lie!

I have now watched the full record. Apart from the Brown try there is no evidence that Allende gave away a try.....although you can blame him for the AB try that came from the overthrow at the lineout, he reacted very slowly. On balance I'd say even though his reading of the play remains poor, his tackling by itself has probably improved....and he made 2 good open field stops, one on Huw Jones. His attacking play probably peaked in the 2015 Super season when he learned how to offload...now totally forgotten. So now he offers tractoring and a crash ball dead end. The move palpably slows when he gets the ball....he lopes and often jumps, setting up the crash. Apart from not offloading he throws a lot of errant passes eg the long forward pass denying a try against the Lions yesterday. And often he passes too early, when widening the move simply cramps it. With today's tight defences it's not so much the player that can break the defence as the player who can unlock it with a good pass. The art of the cut onto the ball, which should suit his assets...is also absent. The clip does show good counter rucking contributions out wide....probably his long suit. Overall we see a player with all the physical assets neutered by slow thinking and under developed skills. Some of this is inherent, but he has learned nothing from Stick.

I will never understand the hop and jump before taking contact. His footwork isn't great at times. He gets given so much ball, front foot ball, and can't do anything with it, even against a passive defence. If Rassie persists with him, I'll have lost all respect for him. In the André video, we see Kriel dart in between two defenders and get a Bok away behind the defence, like Louw did against New Zealand in 2013. I wonder why we don't see that more often. Of the two, he has the most potential. He is certainly much stronger and faster. We saw a shift away from 12 to 13 on the EOYT. Total possessions for Damian did drop sharply after the England game, so while the fans were very happy by the display, I don't think Rassie sees it the same way. Of course, this may have been a change based on opponent. If so, god have mercy on the Boks this year.
