Well, at least they know something is not working. If Oz agree to cut a team maybe SA will also and we are heading in the right direction. Still talking so we will wait and see.

The Kings were brought in to promote the quota.

Laughable to think that a success story was actually expected.

Marutllule is the only talent that came from it and he's now at the Bulls.

The teams in the comp is not the problem, it's the stupid structure they came up with to deal with the increased teams that's the real fly in the ointment.

The rot started when they tried to fix something that wasn't broken.

Super 16 is the solution.Four teams from each, Oz, NZ and RSA one from Argentina, one from Japan and two from the Pacific islands.
RR format with neutral refs.
Cheetahs and Sharks(One), Stormers, Lions, and Bulls. Out with the Goats.

As I mentioned a few weeks back I for one do not think that RSA has enough depth at Super Rugby level to field 5 quality teams and be competitive.
The expansion of Super rugby in past years has shown that RSA rugby is not able to rise to the playing level required in that competition either from lack of skills or transformation.
Sure one or two RSA sides do have a fair game on occasions but are not consistent.
Just the number of times an RSA  team has won the Super Rugby competition says it all.
Constructive comments welcomed.
