The top rugby schools have so many sponsors i is unbelievable.  I went to Outeniqu What they do is to go around intheir wider areas to all other schools and find the prmomissing pupils and Oakdale a few years a go and their sponsorship list covered two large  notice boards.    Virtually all local businesses are involved - so money really is not an object.
EG Jansen is notorious for getting youngsters from all over  SA.   Their spies and agents t hen go to th parents and prmosie to cover all costs for their kids - inclusive of school costs, accommodation and clothing and with the help of the major unions even provide pocket money to the youngsters - normally around R2 800 per month.   For school kids that is quite a lot of pocket money - nearly R100 per day.
Tere is massive competition between schools to get players and even an abduction now nd again.   Just promise more and the parent will give premission for a "transfer".   All vey professional nowadays.   

 I did jokingly ask the parents if they were loaded given they had toured the UK two years in a row. They just laughed and said that they had left the wives behind this year.
