So Tokkie how did those ideas work out for you? When the chips were down AB and Amla saved the day and won the series. Once again experience counts.
With a bit of movement we saw the other de Kock again today. Lucky to make it through the first over, he was befuddled by the movement. So after a poor display behind the stumps he departed early. This kid has technique issues. The hitch he has in his stroke is not unlike Jim Furyk in golf...a decided loop. It works if he can play through the line without adjustment....but if there is movement it's just too complicated.

And yes Vetsak....Rossouw did flop .....again. With the most intemperate shot for the occasion.

Of the three big hitting lefties so beloved by Vetsak....Miller, Rossouw and de Kock.....only de Kock has made runs and looks like a test prospect. But only as a hard hitting number 6 or 7.

 Listen Mozart
Whn you make statements like you are doing above my advice to you is NOT TO) LIE.   I hope that even though you are a habitual liar you will stop that atrocious habit of yours,
I have never ever suggested that Amla must be dropped from the team.  i have said that he should bat lower down the order because he has a problem in opening the batting.   Even when Amla today - after a duck on Friday - did last longer - he was batting at a strike rate way below the required rate of 4,8 rpo - which in itself could have cost us the game.
You are a bloody outright idiot and that remains the same.  De Kock was the SA Batsman with the highest runs this series - but you saw the other De Kock - you stupid idiot.  In five ODI's he made 313 runs at an average of 80,3 runs per innings.Only an absolute fool would be on a constant anti De Kock campaign like you have been this year.
When will you ever learn anything about rugby and cricket - because from what you wrote it is clear that you know nothing about these two games and because of that you make a constant fool of yourself.  .

Oh yes I remember you wanted to bat Amla at 7....hahaha. Well today you saw the living proof of my take on De Kock. Every time he makes a big score on a flat track I hear how I got it wrong. But I believe he can score big innings against medium paced  bowling on flat wickets. What I have said is he struggles mightily on wickets where the ball is moving....like today.

Another lie - I said 3 - never 7.   Your big scores on flat track is the worst lot of rubbish you ever talk.   De Kock has made centuries in cities like Sydney and in countries where the track is anything but flat.
But then go on - you have made a fool of yourself too often to try and stop you at this late stage.

I never said he should be dropped from the team - I said he should to my mind bat lower in the order - say at 3 - because he had a long ruin of poor scores and was batting very slowly at the start of an innings.   Even yesterday he was batting at a strike rate of 64,1 per hundred balls which equates to  3,84 rpo.   That was way below requirements.

Rubbish Mike.....Amla is perfect as an opener in ODI's and perfect at 3 in test.....no debate.....nothing wrong with a strike rate of 89 in ODI's its perfect.....when he has de Kock, AB, Rossouw and Miller on board......well should have!!

That's a fair call Mike, nothing wrong with saying that he should drop to 3 because of a lack of form but I'm not too convinced you said so although I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. BTW thanks for the insult.....next time when I hand out one just don't bung on your holier than thou moral high ground BS. I don't insult my friends. While you and Moz were having your spats I mostly stayed out of it and through it all kept you informed with titbits of information of your racing friends over here. You've crossed the line.

So you never said Amla should play 7 Liarmike.....explain this you old Queen. And let's not hear about how you were talking about T20 cricket....dropping him to 7 in T20 is even more absurd.

I read an article in Supersport about the SA approach to  T20 games.  They clainm that the problem is we do not follow the world trend and select big hitters for that version of the game.  The one guy they mentioned was Amla - his run rate is tto slow for that version of the game.
However, there seems to have been a problem in that regard.  Because of Amla's slow starts it puts pressure on De Kock and he hits out at balls he should not hit at.  De Kock is in fact the last player that should be considered for replacement - he had the second highest score in the SriLanka T20 game and the lack of runs early on against New Zealand was his downfall in that game.
However,  De Kock was not the only casualty of that problem in the New Zealand game  He was quickly followed by AB and Du Plessis and later on by Miller.
I would start by changing the batting order - opening with Faf and De Kock, and AB and Miller coming in at 3 and 4, followed by Duminy and Abie Morkel, Amla and the bowlers.
I would seriously think about changing Morne and Tsotsobe as well.   It does not look like Morne has adjusted well to sub-continent conditions yet.   However, they are playing the netherlands tomorrow and I think they should giove Morne another rin - he will recover his mojo soon and needs game time.

I wrote about T20 you stupid old fart.  Amla is not part of the T20 squad anymore - so what are you talking about here?   Do you know there is a difference between T20 and ODI's?   let me explain ignorant fool, ODI's is played with innings of 50 overs - T20 is played with innings of 20 overs.  Understand the difference - stupedo"?

Apology accepted....Peace! Once again, what happens between you and Moz is unpleasant and uncalled for, I remember you as great board buddies on a previous site and I also remember Moz coming to your defence when Rooinek picked you out. Things were so bad that you once told him to F/off. Don't forget an enemy of Moz is a Rooinek friend. But hey, not sure where things went awry between the two of you but I'm staying out of it, I hope to remain friends with both of you. One thing though, Moz always covers my back, no-one else does, he has every right to expect likewise from me.
Salut!

Things between Mozart and me went awry when Mozart and I differed strongly on some players and as I started using ESPN stats to state what I regard as confiorming evidence of what I wrote.
Mozart had and still has some players he likes and any criticism of them leads to unpleasantness on his part.  if you disagree with his viewpoints he states you are stupid/idiotic and then it gets more and more unpleasant.  I tried a number of times to get things better - but Mozart consistently acted against any improvement of relationship.
He became downright unethical with his allegations of homosexuality and child sex allegations  and his publishing a photo of mine on the site.   I can put up with differences of opinion on the site - but hate personal attacks based on unproven falsehoods.
I am not a friend of Rooinek and do not get into arguments based on anything bar sport issues with him - same with Saffex,  In essence I think that personal attacks is not called for - but Mozart especially more than anyone else seems to use that when people differ from him.

I disapproved of both the link or the photo.  It followed a comment by me about being sad to leave KwaZulu-Natal after 40 years in the Province and reading in the local paper what the local people thought about my work in the area.   It did not ask for somebody to either publish the article or photo on this site.  In a way it seems that one must not say anything about your personal feelings without a backbiter at work.

So let's be clear what happened:
1 Nobody had read the article, so Mike made sure somebody did by first referring to it on the site.
2 Deddy found the article and asked Mike's permission to put it on the site.
3 Mike agreed without any reservations about content  i.e. he gave permission for the whole article to be published
4 Deddy posted the article, but left out the photograph that was part of the article.

5 With Mike's permission to publish the article already given....in fact that is what he wanted all along....I attached the photograph which had been omitted.
Case closed.

Mozart - You stupid Dud
I had no other intention when I left  message on the site other than to mention that it saddened me that I was leaving KwaZulu-Natal after living there for nearly 40 years.  I mentioned the article in the local newspaper of one of the reason for being saddened.    I never thought for a minute that somebody would find the article and publish it on the site.
Publishing the article was totally in  order because it did not  give away too much personal info and I give permission to  APD to do so.   He did not publish the photo that went with the article - because he has more ethics in his toenail than you have in your whole body,
You had no permission to publish the photo on the site and your subsequent comments on both the article and the photo was highly unethical.  However, I assume that is reflected by your conduct on the site all the time.
You are a bloody insult to humanity and that is a fact.
