The Boks have been humbled this EOYT, we'll come firing into the RWC, beware. Whoever wins the Semi-final between the New Zealand and the Boks will win the RWC and the Six Nations should be watched carefully to predict whose going to come 2nd.

Shezza, I am aware of this because the Boks are very dangerous and respond positively to pain or loss...that's the thing I like about South Africans , but I know their big weaknesses's because I suffer the same thing...so does most of us..we have a lot to be proud of but we are really stupid to propaganda...we are really delusional at times...putting our heads in the ground...maybe our emblem should be ostriches, (like flightless Kiwi birds...lolz)
The WC is won by hard,patriotic and honest commitment and character and not necessary the best rugby skills.
I'll eat my fishing hat, which comes from Australia a genuine Jacaru...from Oz made out from genuine 'Roo ' skin that my son sent me from Adelaide ...he's married to an Ozzie girl. sadlly union is not strong there...Aussie Rules rules...anyway I'm proud of him and his wife is sweet...a rare Sheila.

I agree with Biltong...I actually see us falling short in the semi's ,we might make by our shere strength but the europes greatest will be playing with european atmoshere and conditions..not only that the pressures on both NZ, Sa and Oz to beat these guys on their own background...if the the laws are strictly and religiously applied we might break through....but understand this there are undercover agents working against us...the IRB (got a new handle now...cannot remember now...but the World Body of Rugby.

Biltong, you are way too negative. We actually beat NZ this year and came within a whisker of beating them at home. Did well against them last year as well. Why do you give us no chance....right, Meyer's selections...I don't buy into the hype of running at all cost and neither into the "pick the flavour of the month" either. The old and new guard has been tried and tested, it had to be done, now we know where we stand.
PS, Biltong, you are against picking overseas players. How did that work for you against Wales?

DbDraad, let me first answer your last question, how would it have worked out if Meyer stopped using overseas players in 2012?
As for negative, yes I am negative because I don't believe in BS'ing myself.
Meyer has put himself in an unenviable position where he relied too much on older players who are now beginning to retire, lose form and break down. By the same token he hasn't built enough experienced young players.
This means he has to make do with what he has created.
The older players do not have 80 minutes at 100% left in them, the have already shown they have not learnt how to adapt, or for that matter play the match conditions. Their decision making is still not up to standard, and I doubt they can learn much more in the next four tests before the RWC.
The younger players aren't ready yet as they do not have enough experience to win a RWC.
If you believe otherwise you are entitled to it, we just have 10 months to wait.

Well I have to say I rarely make predictions, Seb. I am not that sort of person really. But I have always said that I felt this RWC was one too soon for Lancaster and his bunch, which is a shame, but there we have it. That said, one can never bet against England and I am absolutely certain that we are not as bad a team as many are painting us. They seem to wish to deride us whilst talking others up all the time and that, I find, consistently galling. I see failings and faults but I see good things too. And I know we have many players to come back following injuries and a number of really good youngsters he hasn't even tried yet, which I think is a bit of a mistake.
Ireland have improved but, they have been hyped up to the rafters, I'm afraid. The match against Australia was an exercise in abysmal defence on both sides. Against a side playing a tighter defensive structure, that game would not have panned out like that at all. I cannot abide harem scarem Rugby. Too many sides get sucked into that style of play these days simply because they think they have to, because that is the only way to keep us entertained. It's nonsense. Play to your strengths and impose your game plan onto someone else, if you can.The Irish and the Scots have always been past masters at harrying teams, legally or otherwise, because they could not always compete physically with the opposition. Sensible of them ! Ireland now have self belief, which has been lacking for them in the past. And that can sometimes be the deciding factor.
I think what would be a good idea would be to see how we all get on in this 6 Nations, if that is an indicator of anything at all.

No NH team will win it. The POMS in 2003 were an exceptional, experienced side.....filled with old war horses who knew how to win. They put down a crucial marker in NZ when the outscored the ABs at home during a period when they had 14 players on the park. And they still would have lost if Oz had a tighthead who could stay on his feet.

Moz, the best NH team will probably be in the final against either SA or NZ and like France showed us last time around, anything can happen in a final. They almost did it AND that team was lucky to get to the final. Never say never.
