The main thing is that they are fit for the RWC.

Should England be persevering with Burgess. SBW is backing him and if Burgess comes off as a top cneter along with Tuilagi theye will havea very good backline to go with a pack that munched the wee abs.
The fianl should be between england and SouthA frica but injuries will be key. In our case youcan add in Meyers ability to select. I think we will get a much fairer deal up in ther NH where some sembalmce of honour remains! Here are SBW's comments re Burgess (a world class athlete!)From one cross-code convert to another, Sonny Bill Williams has labelled any criticism of Sam Burgess' progress in Union as 'wrong'.
Williams has been a success in both codes of the sport, winning a Super Rugby title with the Chiefs and the Rugby World Cup with New Zealand in 2011.
Burgess was criticised for his performance in the England Saxons win over the Irish Wolfhounds on Friday, have played just eight matches in his new sport.
Williams noted that the early reactions to his switch back in 2008 had been similarly poor and backed Burgess to make England's squad for the RWC, probably as an inside centre.
"That is where everyone is wrong," Williams told RugbyHeaven.
"They just have to be patient. Sam is a world-class athlete and I have got no doubt that whether he makes it at number 12 or number six he is going to make it.
"It just depends on how long it is going to take him because the subtleties of the two games are totally different and myself, I think he would be a perfect blindside but I think for World Cup calculations he will probably fit in better into the England squad at inside centre.
"I am no expert but, like I said, he is a world-class athlete, he has got a hard work ethic and he will be hurting after performances like that if he didn't play too well but never back against someone of his talent.
"It is just like Israel Folau. I am sure in his first couple of games he was getting bagged a little bit and now look at where he is."

The Poms have the talent & if they can get their top players fit to play they will be a force to be reckoned with. I think Lancaster is a good coach & has them going in the right direction in terms of developing power forwards along with a decent back-line.

Well said JW some signs of objectivity at last. Please apply same to hapless wee abs on the skids!
I cant see the abs beating a full Engkland side. Only the Boks can do this. BUT the show pony must go!!

Luther Burrell has concussion so is a doubt for this week
At one point last week, Twelvetrees and Joseph were the only fit Centres in the Squad.
Slade and Thomas were called in to train as was Geraghty, to cover in the backs.
We really are struggling !
Some of those timescales for returns that you have are over ambitious, I think.Tuilagi, in particular...he has been returning for months ! Some of the players who have had op's may or may not be back in a time scale, it is a wait and see. I think Lawes will do well to see any action this 6 Nations.
I'll keep you posted though..it's an hourly change with injuries at the moment !
