CleverMike: thanks mate but I will just stick to foxsports s15 fantasy rugby this season & then the RC. Too much to keep up with otherwise. Have to maintain "marital bliss"!also so this means I must at least have time to grunt in response to the wife's insightful comments

Sasuke, I see your tam in the League. Note that that's just for the head-to-head comp. You must join the Ruckers Forum Group as well, (code 530481 ) that's where they do the normal classic competition where the most points wins.
We seem to all agree that winning the Group is more prestigious than winning the League. Get your team in there.

Just noticed that there's also a link to a tipping comp on the Foxsport website (it's the bottom icon on the left side).
For what it's worth I've just created a Tipping League called Ruckers Forum and the code is 671169.

We will see whether this is the Hurricanes year.   We heard that one repeatedly over the past four years.

 True but I Think if they can get a solid tight five. To give arguably the best back line in the comp a good platform. Anythings possible. And of course its always consistency with the canes. I actually think the danger from SA is the Stormers. Had a lot of injuries last year, full strength very strong. Although I well never forget Saders beating Stormers in Newlands with 13 players haha.

Clevermike - got your challenge on Testrugby. Thanks for thinking of me. I may sign up for the Super Rugby edition.
Hello to everyone on the board and sorry I haven't been around lately, just been very busy - which is a good thing  Will try to post more.
Looking forward to the upcoming season and World Cup, finally ! Feels like ages since the last one.

Being very busy is no excuse for having your friends worrying themselves sick about you!!!!    Some serious samity was missing from the Board when you were not posting - we really was most worried about your absence.
First of all - how are you and yours?   That is most important - I hope you are fine.
Secondly - you beat us all last year in all versions of fantasy rugby - not only in Test Rugby.   We will miss your leadership terribly.
Test Rugby
Insofar as joining the Test Rugby competition is concerned nothing is different from the past.   The League is still "Stupidzone"   -  abbreviation SZ.
Foxsport
In the case of Foxsport - the basic selections are the same - but the format has changed.   The format now allows you to compete with other members on two basis - namely Leagues and Groups.   You have to join both if you want to join us.
We have established  "saruckersforum"  i.r.o the league and groups respectively.   The different codes are as follows:-
*  League*  Group
I will get Rooinek or one of the other knowledgeable people to provide same.
Superbru
Superbru offers three different competitions, namely
*   Predictions*   Fantasy Lite*   Fantasy
Prediction is very easy - you have to pick which team you think will win - and estimate by how many points.   Easy - should take you not more than 5 minutes to do that.
Fantasy lite is a 5 minute job as well.   There are 5 categories of players given and you have to pick one player in each category to score points for you.  No restrictions and no player prices involved.
Fantasy is much like Foxsport - with two differences:-
    *   no prices of players provided    *   you may not pick more than 4 players from each franchise in your squad of 23 players.
Much easier to handle than Foxsport.
The pool references are all named "saruckersforum" and the codes are as follows:-
Predictor -  cullfeelFantasy lite -  wellbegsFantasy  -  wrenbal
Time scales
To join and register for all the above - will take you probably 15 to 20 minutes.   To make the initial selections will take you about an hour for all three fantasy competitions - and thereafter about 30 minutes a week to make changes.
Cricket World Cup
Incidentally Foxsport also runs a fantasy competition for the Cricket World Cup - but it is rather difficult - since in the round robin phase you cannot pick more players than 2 from each country and you may only choose 5 batsmen, 2 all-rounders, 1 wicket-keeper and 4 bowlers.   Your 12th player is scoring if one of your earlier selections for some reason or another not playing - but it has to be a bowler.  If interested Rooinek will also provide further info.
I hope you can save a bit of time for the first week - thereafter it is only changes to be made every round - and that is not very difficult and time-consuming.   I will post the selections each week as early as possible.   Please oi-matey - we need  your knowledge and leadership in each competition.

 CleanCut: thanks for the invite mate but when I read the name of the testrugby site "stupidZone" I knew it was not for me

Seriously though, I was never in the test rugby comp & I am trying to limit myself to one comp.

Thx for the kind words Mike and all the info, but have to point out that Lightbringers was absolutely dominant last year in Testrugby - didn't he win a phone or something for being #1 in the world in one series?
Cricket I'll take a pass. Loved going to Newlands to watch games but other than that my bat and ball game is baseball. Been playing since I was little
