Can anybody help to find the Sunwolves and Crusader teams, please.
I have written to Supersport Rugby as follows:-
I have joined Superbru - but their is a problem. Superbru has three competitions - namely the Predictor Game, The Champions and Fantasy Rugby. I am a member of all three.
However, there is a problem to participate in all three competitions. A real assessment can only be made if the teams of the franchises are available at the closing time of the Round. With games now also on Thursday evenings the problem is that other than the Waratahs none of the teams playing on Saturday has been announced.
What happened in the past was teams would be announced at least 48 hours before the games - but with the Thursday game happening in the morning at 10:00 SA time - we will inevitably end up with no SA teams be announced before the closing time of the competition round. The Australasia teams will be announced during the course of tonight - SA time - but the SA teams will be announced after closing time.
The above issue is really taking away a lot from the relevant competition and I would suggest that Super Rugby approach the Unions to ensure that all team announcements are to be made at least 3 hours before the closing time for the Superbru competition.
It must be pointed out that Superbru is not the only institution running such competitions and the total participants could be a high as 100 000 members in SA and foreign countries. I think that their situation should be borne in mind hen a plea is made to the Franchises to get them to change their announcement times.
