Just read this....about the 'promising' Esterhosen.
The Bulls were on the attack and had a penalty near the Sharks' 22. For once the ball went in and came out quickly. No.8 Arno Botha passed to scrumhalf Rudy Paige, who gave to Brummer who was also on the blind side. Brummer rounded Andre Esterhuizen and straightened....

Shame on the bosses - work keeps me from the Internet..
Mr. Mozart, it is a clear fact that a big center like this guy has obvious flaws. They are immense in the crash-ball approach, which by the way is as outdated as Buurman van Zyl. Stepping a big lad is the answer which some of the local coaches are still to realise. Just look at the 15 of the Bulls - cutting through the slow big guys like the proverbial knife through butter.
South Africa have very good player, what they need are decent coaches who are able to invoke the talent within the player. (Like NZ where skill is at a high level and talent is encouraged). Sadly it seems coaches like to plan a game on a whiteboard and when things fall apart there is no whiteboard on the field to "instruct" players to change course. It makes SA players look dumb, which they are not - just confused when things go south.
It is said that some SA coaches are very good at coaching talent OUT of players... You be the judge!

The problem is that on the day JP Pietersen was useless - that being the main fact of the match between the Bulls and the Sharks.

I cannot begin to tell you how p!ssed off I was about that miss but Pietersen's teammates have to take some of the blame as well.
I'm convinced the embarrassing premature victory celebrations from Coetzee and co put a lot of extra pressure on Pietersen and if they'd shut up and waited for the points to be on the board the Sharks would be 3 from 3.
