The following quotes are from Folau himself, that he recently made to the press
"Whatever His will is, whether that's to continue playing or not, I'm more than happy to do what He wants me to do."
Folau told the newspaper the outrage had not caused him to reconsider his stance.
"Absolutely not," he said. "I'll stand on what the Bible says. I share it with love. I can see the other side of the coin where people's reactions are the total opposite to how I'm sharing it.
Folau admitted he would miss rugby, but said he was dedicated to God.
"First and foremost, I live for God now. Whatever He wants me to do, I believe His plans for me are better than whatever I can think. If that's not to continue on playing, so be it," he said.
"In saying that, obviously I love playing footy and if it goes down that path I'll definitely miss it. But my faith in Jesus Christ is what comes first."
So here is my question:
He states more than once that he will stand firmly by his god and if this means that he does not play anymore rugby at all, so be it, because his love and belief in his god takes preference over everything else.
he stated all of this before any decision was made against him, by the Waratahs or the ARU
One surely has to assume then, that whatever outcome happens, after him making these statements, he must surely accept, because his own god must have had some input, as to what the outcome is for him..... as in, getting dropped from the Waratahs and the Aussie team.
So now that he is dropped, he wants to go legal?
So, would it be correct to say, that he is now in fact not accepting the outcome that his own god has provided to him, or is he now hoping that by going to court, and maybe winning, only then will that outcome be what his god wanted for him?
