"But I think what’s being discussed here is his decision to challenge his dismissal in court which some are saying is hypocritical when he has been quoted that he would walk away from the game if it he felt he had brought the game into disrepute."

He obviously is not thinking that yet and he probably feel that a light needs to be shone on this topic . You are allowed to stand up in public for being gay, or trans or whatever, but as soon as you stand up for Jesus they silence you....and some say Folau is the hypocrite?

Sure sure.....

Folau…...I say here now that if this is between my rugby career or Jesus, I choose Jesus, because I love him more

Mmmmmmm, I wonder what he would have decided before becoming this multi millionaire, if faced with the exact same choice

We can never know, but there have been numerous Christians in the past who rather chose death than deny Jesus...not saying  he is legit, just that some people do.

This has to turn on whether it was hate speech......just a rant against groups Folau despises. Or was it Folau struggling with what he sees in the modern world, and a sincere warning to these groups to repent. Folau says it's the latter, in which case he surely has a 'free speech' right to make his views known. Heaven knows much worse things are said every day. In the most public case Donald Trump has been accused of being a traitor to his own country. Can one say anything worse about a public figure? But even now that the claim is disproven there are no sanctions for those who said they had evidence to that effect. Free speech is a powerful thing and probably the most important right that sets us apart from countries like N Korea and Iran. It's going to be interesting to see how the courts handle this.

Mozart has got it right...Folau does not hate his fellow beings but warning them of them of dangerous tendancies that PC brain vilification does. People fall victim of PC...which teaches us and more importantly the youth and ignorant...man's standards and values have fallen deeply today...it amazes me why people cannot see it.

But the saying is true... human tendancy definitely prefers darkness to light as light exposes those things that we prefer to hide.

@Draad, I stated that in the context of being an international sports person- and therefore representing your nation. I am not an international sports person- so I am not an ambassador to a whole country. However, I don't go into my workplace and leave notes around that all Christians are going to hell? Anyone that did that in the work environment would probably be disciplined as it is offensive to Christians- and just not constructive to the productivity of that work environment.

It seems most of his Waratahs team members are pissed off with him because they feel he has let them down. First and foremost they are professional rugby players, so he is not a team player as he has put his own agenda ahead of the team. If he wants to be a Church minister- then they should pay his salary.
Are his team members writing all over social media that Christians are a bunch of hypocrites that will be first in the Hell list?
Their is also a commercial factor as well. The more fans, the more money. Falous extensive list is probably around 80% of Australia, so he is isolating the team from most of the population. Does anyone tell the truth 100% of the time, and therefore a not a liar? What is a liar.

Political correctness - Wikipedia

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_correctness
The term political correctness (adjectivally: politically correct; commonly abbreviated PC) is used to describe language, policies, or measures that are intended to avoid offense or disadvantage to members of particular groups in society. Since the late 1980s, the term has come to refer to avoiding language or behavior that can be seen as excluding, marginalizing, or insulting groups of people considered disadvantaged or discriminated against, especially groups defined by sex or race. In public discourse and the media, it is generally used as a pejorative, implying that these policies are excessive or unwarranted ?History · ?1980s and 1990s · ?Modern usage · ?Usage in selected regions

Shark moving the goal posts all over the place....again.

PC was supposed to have been Diplomatically Correct or "non offensive", but it has been transformed into parroting whatever the "flavor of the day" politicians thought up...and lately it is OK to offend some, but not others...all in the name of inclusiveness. ..horse manure. Just a new way of discriminating under cover.

PC is an agenda used by politicians to dragoon the masses into thinking the way they want us to.

It is an insult to being able to reason what is right and what is wrong and taken to extremities. It is not a code of ethics because it is often abused and taken out of context...it tends to exaggerate minor issues and ignore more major and serious issues...it's a brain washing (contaminating) tool to get the mindless sheep making the right noises...ie in South Africa more was made of Angelo Agrizzi's angry derogatory language when testifying than the corrup tion and bribery activities of leading politicians looting millions, if not billions from the taxpayer.

It is an agenda that real intelligence ignores but the majority fall victim to it because it becomes a quote or slogan that is bleated out by the non-thinkers.

I am moving the goal posts, by copying and pasting Wikipedia? I just quickly rewrote Wikipedia....

I think I would rather trust the opinion of Wikipedia over brainwashed happy clappies who will not consider third-party opinions like what is listed in Google.

PC Religion is an agenda used by the Church (former politicians) to dragoon the (former) masses into thinking the way they want us to.

Religion is an outdated PC....  It was better than nothing, at least for Abraham...
