So i picked Ioani this week. Purely based on emotion .
But he hardly featured today.
On a good note, i had Hika Elliot, Lienart-Brown and Damien Mckenzie in my lineup, all of whom scored.
Pretty happy so far.

Rieko and Akira Ioane were both duds this week. I also had Hika Elliott but only on my bench. Hoping all my Hurricanes run riot again against the Rebels otherwise I'm pretty screwed.

One player who is going to shoot up in value is Eto Nabuli. He's currently an absolute bargain at FR$192 but you're not going to get that price next week.

The second try of his hat-trick yesterday was nothing short of spectacular. First he made a really poor pass look good, then he wrong-footed 3 defenders and to top it off, the pace he showed as he powered away from the defenders was simply sensational. Candidate for try of the year.

...Head Coach Daryl Gibson has announced changes to the NSW Waratahs line up for round two, with Nick Phipps and Will Skelton sustaining injuries while training in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Scrum half Phipps rolled his ankle with Skelton suffering a minor hamstring strain, both resulting in players being ruled out round two.

The injuries will see Matt Lucas start at scrum half and Senio Toleafoa at lock, with Jake Gordon and Maclean Jones moving onto the bench.

Gibson admitted while the last minute change wasn’t how he had hoped to head into the Lions game, he had confidence in Lucas and Toleafoa to step up into the roles.

“We have three Super Rugby quality half backs to choose from and Matt has the experience in that starting position.

“Toleafoa has been preparing well with the squad and he comes off a strong 2016 season with the NRC.  It’s now their time to step up and have a crack,” said Gibson.

Jake Gordon comes on to the bench on the back of a strong pre-season form, having developed well over the last two years through the Waratahs program. Maclean Jones will earn his first Waratahs cap after a strong Shute Shield season with the Warringah Rats.

Gibson said that Phipps and Skelton’s injuries weren’t expected to sideline them for long and he hoped to know early next week whether they will take to the field for round three against the Sharks in Durban.

The mighty American Secretaries are currently ranked #1 in the overall Foxsports standings . . . but I have no more players to come so I may well still be overtaken before the round is done.

I went Skudder captain. Got rid of Folau. As long as he's centre. Best to stay clear. Skudder got me 136 points. Few players I left on bench. So only 455 points. But solid. Looks like won my head to head again..

I picked Janse Van Rensburg as VC and has Milner-Skudder as captain.   They did very well.
By the way I think that one must look out for EW Viljoen - he looks a lot physically like Milner-Skudder - but cannot find his name anywhere,   Should be dirt-cheap as well.
I will have to make three changes this coming week.   They include getting rid of some duds.
My best selections this week has been the following:-
Milner-Skudder, Janse Van Rensburg, Du Toit and Shields.
By the way Janse Van Rensburg's mother died on Monday and is being buried on Wednesday - so he will not be playing on Saturday.
He promised his mother he would not let her death iaffect his playing career and was emotional after the match when asked about the situation and he said that his mother was with him when he scored the two tries.
Will have to bench him on Saturday.

Ou Maaik, EW Viljoen is there but he's listed as an outside back.
Now is a good time to pick players from the Hapless Stompies but only if you have decent bench cover. The Stompies play the Kings, then they have a bye and then they play the Sunwolves.

Thanks for the advice.   I think I will pick EW Viljoen this week - he should cost no more than $112 000 .

Most of my transfers 3 we'll be duds too. Tamivulu is prob a good pick up in the centres. Viljoen is a pretty good option too.
