Perhaps I'll stand a chance of catching the Plums but other than that there's way to much ground to make up.

The other issue I have to face is that I really suck at this version so I'd probably be focusing on the Plums as my main competition anyway.

Congrats on leading the competition. Getting there is a toughie but staying there is even worse.

Gooooooooo Giantsss!!

Yes 3ku1, you did. Good thing I wasn't up against you in the head-to-head!

Just checking out your team . . . Torsten van Jaarsveld was an inspired choice and I see he not only scored you good points, he's also earned you a whack of money! Zeilinga as your captain was also a smart move.

Think we're all going to struggle next round with so many injuries and so few transfers. I see you're the same as me, you need to dump both Mil-Skud and Naholo. I also had Tamanivalu in my team so those are my 3 transfers used up already. Hoping my other players all get selected this weekend otherwise I will be in trouble.

Congrats.    I did not know one could change the team after start of the first game like you did with Leyds.   What is the real situation?

Ou Maaik, I didn't make my Leyds change after the first game of this round, I made all my transfers before the round started this week . . . but I can confirm it possible to make trades after the round starts because of the rolling lockout.

There was quite a bit of discussion about the rolling lockout on this and other threads. Basically, you can still make trades on Foxsports Fantasy after the round has started as long as the players you are trading in or out have not played yet.

We discussed this at some length so I'm surprised you missed it.

For example, let's say this week the Cheetahs (playing the last game of the round in Argentina this weekend) are very late with their team announcement and the first game on Friday kicks off before the team is announced. If you had - let's say - Raymond Rhule (just an example) in your team and after the first game (Crusaders vs Blues) had kicked off, you can still trade Rhule out of your team and replace him with someone else, as long as his replacement isn't a Crusader or a Blue because their game was already finished or in progress.

You can make any trades after the start of the round as long as they are players who have not played yet.

Yes, I think there were only supposed to be 3 last round as well but for some reason we got 4. According to the rules you only get 4 transfers when more than two teams have the bye in the next round.

Trades are very tight this week with so many injuries. I'll have to get lucky if I want to field a full team.

I thought I was in a mess over Round 4 and 5 with the bye for the Stomers in Round 3 and for the Chiefs and Hurricanes in Round 5 and also as a result of injuries, but looking at your team it seems as  if you are in even a worse position.
I think you would have to change at least 1 OB and 1 Center, with another potential change if Jean-Luc du Preez is rested and depending on other team selections.
However, it is round 5 where you will be in more serious trouble.  So I hope for your sake you get it right and remain on top of the log.

Ou Maaik, this week I'll be selli ng Mil-Skud and Naholo and putting Leyds on the bench. My last transfer will be to sell either Tamanivalu (if he's out for more than 2 weeks) or Dan du Plessis (who might lose his place when Dan Kriel returns).

If my other players all get selected then I'll have 15 starters for round 4.

For round 5 I'll only have to sell the positions where I have both a Chief and a Hurricane and I make that a hooker (Coles or Elliott) and a lock (Retallick or Fatiolofa). That leaves me with one emergency trade if I need it.

Have you heard any talk of the Sharks resting Jean-Luc du Preez? Can't see the Sharks resting him while Philip van der Walt is out.

Will be very tight and I'll definitely need some luck but it is doable.

Dan du Plessis is likely to be out only when Huw Jones returns.  I think Fleck realizes by now that he is a better center than Kriel - so lets wait and see.
