Our franchises are moving in the right direction by trying to rid themselves of playing dinosaur rugby but it's blatantly obvious that they lack the skills and nous to penetrate the opposition with ball in hand. Too many times we see them putting the ball through the hands without crossing the gain line yet in the same game the opposition quite often penetrate without a great deal of difficulty. The other lingering problem centers around option taking, kicking as opposed to running and poor kicking to boot. The option to chip kick in the opposition red zone remains the dumbest of all. I'm afraid to say SAFFA rugby has a long way to go, on the positive side there is hope that at long last we see real prospects at flyhalf coming out of the Stormers.

Disagree, my mate Gavin is speaking crap.....there is plenty to be encouraged about the skill set on display.....which Kiwi or Oz sides are showing better attacking skills than our best?
The Lions are up there with the best, the Bulls are pushing hard despite being handicapped by the loss of Pollard as their pivot....Fleck has the Stormers playing with the freedom to express, despite being without de Allende to date and having to live with Coleman at 10 for a few games.
Hell I am yet to see a Kiwi or Oz prop display the running and passing skills we have seen from Koch and Marcel v/d Merwe this comp
