well the real question is can jake add value to SA rugby and give us a RWC winning team come 2015 ????? in short yes he can....but and this is a massive but that type of game pattern can jake bring to the boks that will make us no 1 and if its the same game pattern that we played pre eddie jones then i for one would say jake needs to stay at the brumbies.

his coaching style is based on adaption having coaching personal that high skilled in there focus areas. under his watch south africa had a great core of players that he build up from the ground but the type of game that was played was the real concern. a solid defence and forwards but nothing beyond that. if he does get the job then SARU should give him proper directive about the type of rugby that needs to be played to makes us compete with the best in the world. i for one dont want a allister coetzee game pattern i will hang myself in my garage with ever the boks play that pattern of rugby. i really makes one lose your motivation to live.

but i do feel he can add the dynamic edge that we need the only other issue that bugs me is his stance on the fetcher role. just as meyer they are a bit our of touch of what the norm is in world rugby. altough jake players smith and hooper that are the best opensiders going around. pocock is also in the mix so i hope jake changes his mind.

Bottom line is that no coach should accept instructions from anyone. Advice and guidance is another story as this would usually come from experienced people.  Two heads are better than one ... blah ... blah ... blah ....

The Goverment can only guide one on how to commit fraud ... what one needs to be a skilled briber ... and the first 10 steps needed to be successful at corruption and how to screw the tax payer. Other than that ... they know fokol!!!

Whether Jake White has a style that works or not, or whether Nick Mallet is skilled enough to lead us to victory, matters not because .... wait for it ... THEY WILL NEVER COACH ANYHTHING IN THIS COUNTRY AGAIN ... NOT EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

No matter their cock size!!!

We are forced to endure chumps like Pieter De Villiers and by the looks of it ... Meyer.

Accept it!!

What puzzles me is why rooitwit insists on making a twit of himself on a daily basis.

I pointed out to snapster that the Brumbies would hardly have employed Jake unless he was a really good coach. Snapster cant even give credit to Jake for what has achieved there. Beating the Lions was nothing - never miind their 580 test caps in the side and Jake had 12 front line Brumbies missing.

One cant get any sense out of these guys.

Boklogic hang in there boet there is plenty of educating thats needs doing.

As I said in the begining - its very unlikely that SARFU will ever re-appoint Jake or even Mallet. Well done CC for noting that.

Not angry, just stunned that a man of your age acts the way you do. Seriously is concerning. You need friends Rooi. You need to get out more.

If your idea of a fun time is getting guys to swear at you on a blog then you live a very sad life. Do you feel important when people react to you? You know, you dont always have to seek negative attention. Sometimes you are just as important when you receive positive attention.

Why are you like this? We know you may get frustrated when the "grown ups" are talking rugby on here as you haven't a clue what the game really is about but why dont you just not blog here or challenge yourself to learn more or even something about the game and put more effort into that instead of always having to defend yourself from being exposed as an ignorant fool? With your ability at the moment, im picking you will need to study fulltime for at least 4 years.

Have you got a wife and kids bro? It would shock me if you have but at your age, why dont you assert more effort their way before she runs off with your brother?

Just please, dont try teach your kids the game of rugby with all this spare time you have. Fuck sake they wouldn't have a fighting chance of "making it" in the game with your knowledge guiding them.

Have a good day Rooi. Chat soon!

We suddenly want Jake after kicking him out...what fickle, hypocritical people we are...it's rather like asking your wife to come back after abusing her...that does not happen unless there is a genuine change in attitude.

Saru is arrogant made up of a lot little men with huge chips on their shoulders or with terrible political and inferiority complexes. This will not change overnight because human frailty is not like that. It takes adversity in all aspects to change a selfish, ego-inflated view and that applies to some, if not all of us to a lesser or greater degree. Indeed it is the biggest flaw in mankind...false pride, ego and self image. We all fail in this academy and if are really honest and do some deep soul searching we will continue on the road to self delusion.

Jake is a good coach...he has redeemed himself by proving it with the Brumbies...this was in disarray with an ageing hippy, surfer boy before he took over. Well done Jake...we'd love to love to have you but we understand!

Boklogic … do me a favour will ya?? Stop crying and grow a pair.

The way your carrying on one would swear it’s the end of the world.

So he mentioned the size of your dick … what’s the big deal??? Are you sensitive cause he hit the nail on the head? No pun intended.

If it was Mozart or Bacon Butt, they woulda pulled out the stats book (tape measure) and tried for a measurement comparison. It may even have resulted in a few pics floating around this site, god forbid..

He didn’t use profanity quite like you did either ... did he now?

You called him a rooipoes!!! Is that acceptable language? I think not!!

I see your latest addition continues attacking him.

Don’t cry if he decides to tear into you again … ok??

Saffex....All I can say is thank goodness we will never see Jake coach the Boks again.

That's a dirty feather in your cap...quite true however but to our own detriment.

Sometimes you're quite sensible but other times an opinionated fool...get rid of your delusions of ego and become honest.

You're not a bad guy and sometimes I enjoy your posts but sometimes you are rather like Dr Jekell and Mr Hide!

Face it the anti Jake brigade is totally discredited. This is as simple as giving the Apple leadership back to Steve Jobs.......it's obvious. The only thing standing in the way is we have a perfectly decent and experienced coach already in place.....but not a coach who is likely to find the high performance button. Treat Meyer with dignity and appoint trhe best guy for the task.

Mozzie and others quite true...it's just a sad thing tjhat you if you hurt somebody unjustifiably you lose total trust in people and their rotten biased and corrupted systems. It takes character to swim againgst the flow...incidentally you will never be popular and accepted , least of all loved and remembered unless you press the right buttons of mass opinion.

It takes a real man to challenge the flow...not a rebel for selfish, opinionated reasons but for what you have examined as right and testing the integrity of your soul.

I have roots in Ireland...the IRA killed a great leader leader for their perverted selfish cause. Michael Collins...he was a man amongst men...Liam Neeson played his part fairly well in the movie,

I'm descended from Eire but I hate this conflict from England...from the late Auntie Maggie and her f...k ups in Ulster especially the killing of Gerard, Martin Harte and Brian Mullins at Drumnakilly by SAS by the scumballs SAS.

All desparencies have there roots in selfish opinion and all of us can easily be deluded by misrepresented tales...it comes down to the adminstratortors the judges and executors of opinion, fair test and judgement by people that have earned that position. The problem is that economics puts unsavouvory people into positions of assessment, judgement and ultimate rule.

Rugby officials are certainly not exempt from this...anything that attracts benefits will appeal to selfish and ambitious people without morals or the next life...they will ignore God , the scriptures or Christ's grace.

I have no doubt that Meyer is a very decent and nice person with an advance sense of loyalty to players whom he believes has served him well in the past. Personally there can be nothing said against him on that score. But does that characteristics of him enough to be a good rugby coach? No doubt he showed signs of that when he was a Bulls coach - but with the players in the Bulls team - he became one-dimensional and develop an affinity to them in general - but also with the Bulls franchise. The Bulls had some really top class forwards at the time and he became close to a style of play working well at the time - but started to go out of the world by 2008. World rugby has nowadays a different playing style - but Meyer did not adjust and basically still believe that the Bulls style of play in the previous decade is still the way to go. This more than anything else lead to a situation where with have a coach with - * a one-dimentional approach to the game of rugby; * refusing to see where performances of players he selects are not up to standard; * a tendency to keep players in the team way past their sell by date; * refusing to recognise achievement of top contenders for selection based on sustained performance; and * a tendency to select Bulls players ahead of better performing other players. There is nothing wrong with selecting Bulls players for the Springbok team if their selection is based on excellent performance. Nobody can doubt that Serfontein, Engelbrecht and Botha are good choices - but the same cannot be said about players like Kirchner, Basson and Kruger. Can Meyer be a successful coach on international level. I really do not think so - he is unlikely to ever lead the Springboks to win the Rugby Championship or the WC. He is far too one-dimensional in approach and also his selections - especially those not based on performance - are not going to yield the required benefits to win a major championship/ Should he be replaced if the results is poor as they were last year - yes, but there is no real alternative in SA at present. A coach like Venter can change things around and may be a future prospect

So Sebastian, am I meant to rate Jake because you say I should? Jake was an average coach, 67% win record over 4 years confirms that. He was also a opinionated wanker - it is a blessing he wont coach the Boks again. I am no Meyer fan, but Meyer is a better coach. As for the ego, you know fuck all about me - so do me a favour and shove your opinions up your arse

Clean Cut, dont get involved in shit you know nothing about. Im happy you standing up for your boyfriend but rather stay out of it.

I never engage in banter with Rooicunt out of will. When someone addresses you the way he does, of course you need to put the prick in his place.

What is his obsession with me. He keeps referring to me as "a little boy" and I must go "play with my friends" but then he talks of my "small cock" so what is his fatuation with young boys and cock. That shit will get him locked up. He probably gets off over dreaming of me being a naked toddler.

Dont try and mediate or think that your word means a damn to me Clean Cut. You just worry about your self. Unlike you and Rooiknob, I dont feel the need to talk about cocks and their sizes. Its not high on my priorities list of things to do right now. Maybe you boys should get together if measuring cocks is a mutual passion.

I like you comment "Dont cry if he decides to tear into you again!"

ha ha when will be the first time. He is a 50+ year old infant. He doesn't have the ability to tear into anyone. He doesn't have the wit! He is regularly the joke on this board. He is a "Bok supporter" that hates the Boks to win. He takes every opportunity to knock them. Why does he have this hate for them. Did he wana sit on their laps at a meet and greet and they didn't take him seriously as he was over 50 years old! I suggest you try follow someone else buddy! Rooipoes will gain you zero credit!

Not a matter of standing up for anyone. Reckon Rooinek is more than capable of sorting his own shit out … especially when it comes to emotionally immature people like you.

I merely took note of your trembling lip and your tearful tone.  How you felt it necessary to give a lecture on ethical behavior while in the same breath exposing your hypocrisy through your use of an assortment of colourful language.

It was rather amusing.

It’s too late to cover up the fact that you had an emotional breakdown yesterday. Pretending that he didn’t press your buttons is a little silly … don’t you think??  We all witnessed your tearful state, the emotional outburst, the tantrum you threw, thrashing legs an all … and though I can respect the face saving attempt … truth be told … it’s a little after the fact.

Perhaps you should take your own advice regarding ethics. Clearly when a little pressure is applied your true nature comes out and from where I’m sitting … it’s not pretty ... so in future save the lecture ... and learn to be a little tougher other wise you'll be turned into a blubbering idiot before long.

Just trying to help.

So, SmallCock, that was in effect a very long-winded, whiny and tearful "no" then?

Not sure why you put up five paragraphs when it was a simple one-word "yes" or "no" question . . . but you carry on trying to pretend that you "never engage in banter" with me. LMAO!

Run along now, little chap . . . just don't wander too far from Mummy, okay?

I'm prettty sure Jake will never coach a south african side again. i may be wrong but i think alot of people in government would put a stop to that from what ive heard over the years from you lot. anyway he is on track to coach australia. thank god deans will be on his way out after beatings from the lions. that man has destroyed the wallabies.

oh an to op, mate nobody really has a trick up their sleeve everyone knows what is coming at them. but not everyone gets the approachj right. the boks look good but they still havent sorted out the breakdown. iu saw the scotland test and that was basically where you guys were stopped dead in your tracks. if you want to beat new zealand thats basically where its done. England did it in the early 00s and last year, boks did it in '98, '04 and '09, the wallabies did it in patches up until '05. i just dont understand why the boks constantly select big ball carriers when it allows a steady flow of quality possession to the other end. i cant remember the loosies the boks had in 2008 but it was basically a world cup side that went to australia but where completely cleaned up on the ground it was embarrassing. so i think in the long term ythis is going to be a real headache for meyer and will go a way in making his coaching record good or bad. brussow is the only test fetcher you guys have. will he definitely be iniligible to play now if he goes to japan? if thats true then i think thats pretty stupid. Either way its gonna be a reality check tomorrow :) Boks 15 - Samoa 37

Mate, maybe but the Islanders have a pretty good shot at beating the Boks. You guys dont have a strong scrum and ordinary lineout that most often gets beaten now, no breakdown threat and no structure on attack, no good centres. its a really good samoa side facing the boks and in most one on ones i think samoa have the edge. meyer hasnt selected the best defenders either. look for hard runs betweeb morne and jean and a lot of raw power at the breakdown. if samoa can just get it together in the set pieces the rest will be on their side. I stand by my prediction.
