Geyling Released from Contract to join Ononnax

This release was at least two years too late -  he was one really weak player in the Bulls set-up.   His only test debut in 2012 was a huge disaster and that was the apex of his career.

The last SA player who I can remember having more than one test debut was Tiaan Strauss.

How this dummy got a Springbok cap is beyond me. He threw away the test that he was in with his cheap shot on Mccaw. 
The only prop that was worse than him was the other dummy who names escapes me. (Werner Kruger- I think). Both were useless outside the scrum- and of limited effect in the scrum 
His nickname was McGiver-I don't know why because this suggests problem-solving ability. 

Wrong, MacGyver is not Greyling's nickname, it's his given name, the name he was christened with . . . except his parents didn't know how to spell it and didn't bother looking it up so he ended up with the name MacGuyver (sic). Dean is actually his second name.

It's one of my pet hates, people who are so dumb that they give their kids a name they can't actually spell. Another rugby example is Jaque (sic) Fourie and I know plenty of unfortunate people named "Micheal" (sic). You'd think if you were going to give a child a name you'd at least take the trouble to look up the correct spelling!

PS I know Moffie is one of these idiots who is actually that dumb (and inconsiderate) and one of his daughters now goes through life with a name that's spelt wrong. LMAO!  

  Sorry I was wrong - Greyling was on the bench in one test only - in Dunedin in 2012.  He was selected to the squad by Meyer when the latter was all agog about the Bulls players with which he was in his own words "acquainted".   He made such a mess that not even Meyer had the audacity to select him again.  

 Greyling made his only test debut (in the starting line-up) under Peter de Villiers against Australia on 23 July 2011. De Villiers also had him in the starting line-up against New Zealand the following weekend in Wellington. His game from the bench in 2012 was his third and last test, after all.
