And Toulon get a penalty from the scrum...Glasgow have to defend a lineout o their 22
Glasgow versus Toulon CC 2026
Toulon now making hard work of the red zone. Good defense Glas.
And they knock it. Yeah, this pick and go shit always tends to have an expiry date if you keep at it for too long.
Geez, Toulon battering the Glasgow line but they knock it in the end
That should have been a scrum penalty to Glasgow
5 mins to go and Glasgow just can't get their hands on the ball
Toulon trying to run out 5 minutes on the clock. They finally box it. Very kak boxie, should have gone deep.
Lancaster snipes, he should have tried to get the pass wide. Glas with the momentum now.
Finally Toulon kick it directly into touch and Glasgow have a chance now with a lineout on halfway
Steyn finally gets some momentum for Glas.
Toulon strips it. If they can hold it that's the game.
Toulon wins.
Take a bow Brex, winning try in the end.
Shit...Glasgow get stripped and that's probably the game
Yep, Toulon take it
Unlucky Glasgow
Was defos worth a watch
Laters dudes
Toulon defense was something else.
I felt Tuipolotu was Glasgow's DDA today - ball barely ever went past him. I asked at one point if Steyn was still on the field - he is their weapon, yet there was a stretch of probably 50-60 minutes where he didn't see the ball. Maybe he did go off at one point, I don't know, but he disappeared as a factor. Some of that has to be down to Toulon's defense, but I also feel Tui just isn't doing it for them at 12, and unfortunately for all the times he goes himself, he has little impact.
I also think Glasgow would win - but they did not so Frnce has two teams in the semu wth nhland one and I am sure Ieland will be the forth team.
In view of their loss today and bearing in mind the Stormers marginal loss playing Toulon away - Glasgow is likey to have problems in Cape Town in the URC restating next weekend. .
