Irrespective of what the opinions are about the personnel, here's hoping we bliksem the Welsh. Currently in Cardiff, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Prediction: Boks with a win, score by 37.
Go Boks!
Me too, this is as close as we can get to our first team, Welsh B team.
Kolisi will have to put a massive shit in.
Ox needs a solid stand and so does Hendrikse

In other words, strain hard. I agree.
Bok Scrum looking strong. 2 penalties earned.
Libok pole kicking is concerning
Wales look ready to be broken in the second half. I anticipate a good few tries on offer in the second half.
Laughable penalty try to the Boks and yellow card.
Got the game but no commentary, what was the ruling for the yellow card?
Knocking it dead in goal with no attempt to catch it?
Wasn't he in the field of play when he knocked it back?
That as well. Tough call on the welsh for sure.
Glad to see how kolisi played. Especially tracking back at full pace to run down one of the Welsh hacks. Chased about 40 m to catch a back. Great pace.
Still the welsh not in this so far anyway.
Just hope the boks don't go asleep now
Kriel got some gas... or the Welsh guy poor.
Snyman picks up Dud and drops him over the line.
Moodie surely has nailed that 14 jumper down
Hard to see a Wales player today that looks like a WC candidate.
Well if that's red your boy can sleep easy as he will get off no problem now the precedent has been set.
He just needs to ask if he has to blow all 3 on the panel or just 2.
Any bets the TMO is getting a call right now to keep it as a yellow.
Well done boks, but before we go hooting about this score, just remember, it was a c team. Welsh team were the worst performers in the URC.
Here is my view.
Ox had a impact at scrum and general play.
Kleyn and Snyman are definitely in our top 3 locks. No need for Orie.
Kolisi came through really. Made it up to 40 min. However, hardly ever played a full games, even when he was fit.
Hendrikse, not sure about him
Libbok, mixed back. Defence was good, out of hand, passing etc all good. Kicking nope. With two straight kicks completely of target, this should be bread and butter for him
Dud, dear end runs
Kriel stood out well. Different player to Am but probably better than am at the moment.
Moodie and Kolbe did really well.
Willie continues to frustrate me. How many high balls did he miss
Kriel played well with Space.
Yes Krei has always been better than some critics here have judged.
Add Eben into that starting pack and you have a very good 8.
Lots of talent, pace and creativity in tbe backline. Esterhuizen must play against England.
Du Toit was good once again.
I hope now some of the oaks can stop being so negative and end the over played drama queen act. Hahahahahahaha.
Oh, Wiese was nowhere, yet again. Lateral running, no go forward, when he does get over the advantage line gets stripped.
Interesting to see will be our team next week
Need to find a goal kicker, going to struggle to win the world cup with that shit, did he even crack 50% off the tee?
Delande had a good game as a loose forward.
Before the Moody train leaves the station ….7 tackles made and 4 missed. He was also beaten on the high ball several times by his opponent. Not to say he wasn’t very good on occasions.
There were a lot of things exposed. Wales had a lot of good ideas, but are very raw. The WC is a year or two ahead of them. Their first up tackles, inside and outside support, it lacked intent and cohesion. Their scrum was obviously not very good, but a first team lineup beat the Boks scrum up last year. Our scrum is not the best. Neutral on a good day, dominant against an especially vulnerable side. Nothing changes for us. If I were game planning against the Boks for a WC encounter, I'd be very excited about the opportunities they present.

Mozart, yes, the fact none of our guys could catch the high ball really frustrated me too. Moody was also a culprit and it is not th first time that we struggle with our own medicine. Other teams have learned to catch, we didn't.
Yes he got beaten on the outside but definitely made up by getting his man eventually. I also believe it is the defence system which is more about applying pressure than tackling.
Don't forget the same press turned over the ball where he literally took the ball out of the Welsh players hands
Well, at least the boks are 4/5 with a rematch against the all blacks
A poor game for the Welsh "C" team so I will not lay praise on any Bok player until they play in the World Cup.
If Libbok is our first choice #9 we have one major problem before we get to the RWC.
Perhaps he and some others will deliver at the next game prior to the RWC.
I for one am not holding any hope that he will deliver in any of the RWC games.
As far as I am concerned he is yet another Elton.
International rugby is one step above the capabilities of both.
A defensive system relies on discipline, reads, and physicality. Our defence lacks punch and discipline. Erasputin has built the team around fundamentally flawed defenders. On attack, we lack physicality, skill, and gray matter. Wales were very vulnerable structurally, and physically didn't apply intensity. The Boks founder under even moderate pressure. This was a training ground session. Nothing more. Nothing has changed. A nice day out to see for entertainment. That's all.
Wales looked like a team that were trying to think about the implementation of their patterns and structures. It's new combinations, and new systems. For them, this was about finding familiarity under those new conditions, in a live setting. This is why I said before the game, Wales will benefit more from this than us no matter the outcome. It'll only entrench Erasputin into believing in the bad decisions he is making.
The Boks game next week will be a true test of their standard against the AB's.
Time will tell if they are capable of a surprise winning result in this years RWC.
New Zealand are known to experiment before a WC. It's twice left Australia with the false belief that they were ready and good before a WC. I'd be cautious about drawing conclusions, depending how the game is approached and the quality of the encounter. If NZ rock up with intent and we suddenly play good rugby, that'll be encouraging. I haven't seen this since the first half of the home test against them in 2018 though.
Risking injuries before the World Cup.... see the damage on France.
