One nice sniping break....and an immediate willingness to get engaged. His penalty touch finders had a mark of assurance as well. This lad may be young but he has a competitors heart. Play him now.

And get Lambie on there.....please.

 Hoor, Hoor.

Buy I don't think Meyer reads these blogs...he is to busy counting the millions he is paid.

What a shambles this is turning out to be.

I have no problems with Goosen being selected at all. But please, stay away from the cowardly Lambie. He has humiliated himself all year long. Not even slightly worth playing, literally brings nothing. If you want a Goosen to unleash players with attacking impetus, then Kirchner must always be selected ahead of any other fullback. If what you want is solidity and tacticality, then by all means, play Pietersen. There are no other long term options.

Requiescat

There are in fact only TWO fullback options - namely Lambie and Taute.   If Kirschner knows how to pass balls and to whom - he may be a gaint possibility.   The latter always died with the ball - resulting in a handover to the opposition.   Really clueless about positional play as well.  Useless under high balls when he is under pressure - showed that one time and time again.   Pietersen showed only bad play recently and is no option at all.

Jalapeno, you obviousy weren't around when I posted clips of Lambie avoiding no less than eight tackles, two led to heavy pressure in our 22. I also showed him shoveling the ball with hospital passes to avoid having to make a decision. The entire 2011 Tri Nations and 2010 EOYT campaign showcased this - his disastrous England series was another, particularly the Aussie and All Blacks tests away. If you would like to disprove these things, then please, be my guest. But you will require something a little more credible than posting insults. I'll be waiting.

The none too subtle return of Aristokat....and one can hardly call it in in disguise. Welcome back, although I see you still have your irrational fear of lamb. Of course Bismarck was felled in your absence and is no longer in the team as you always wanted.  How is that working out for you?

The dead muzo maybe a pain in the ass sometimes, but he sure knows his rugby.  I was a way in Kampala for a spot an have only returned this week.  so there was a lot of reading I had to do to catch up with my fellow lunatic-friends.  Some very nice comments by some of the gentlemen however there is still a lot of subjectivity creaping into some of the comments or opinions.  This ****cat guy has 9 lives because he keeps coming back as another type of cat.

Funny thing is with each reincarnation he gets stupid(er).  While Beeno has matured and is posting knowledgable stuff allbeit that I do not always agree with his point of view, at least it is not all a figment of his imagination.   Clevemike is after all not so clever, ut he has valid points too.

Morne has had sufficient chances and has blown them all.  If it is the coaches game-plan that is the cause, then it did not have the same effect of young Goosen.  Although Pienaar is nothing better than hougie who is lost out in the cold on the wing.  But hell guys what are we doing with Lwazi on the wing?  This guy should be playing in the CC or maybe even lower.   Inzane did not have a bad day, but he does not bring anything special - time to give The Lamb a shot and see what happens.  Man this Mtawazimbabwe is lazy and sometimes has total madness syndrome..  One of the Springboks downfalls - discipline!

Can someone please tell me why the Bok captain cannot tackle?  Man he missed some easy ones.  And Flo never really impressed did he?  Vermeulen grafted his ass off and for a guy just back after a long lay-off he did very well.

As for the coach, he needs to have a looooooong hard think about his choices and inclusions and explusions.

The Bokke will not win against the 'blacks at home, all we can hope for is an improved performance and a game with some structure and purpose..

This certainly is nothing more than a one-off from me. Beeno requested politely that I make an appearance and I have done that. And to the unenlightened, changing my name was something I did a week before I stopped posting, and has been one of four names as a SuperSupporter stooge has been signing up to various places with the name Alucard.
