Rugby World Cup 2015 ambassador Will Greenwood, a key member of England's World Cup-winning team in 2003, has predicted a final between the hosts and the holders next October.

"I have to say I think it will b e England versus New Zealand in the Final," the former centre said in an interview with the official Rugby World Cup 2015 website.

"I think one semi-final will be New Zealand against South Africa, and the other will be England against Ireland," Greenwood added.

"It will be tough to get that far though and England really need to beat Wales and Australia in the pool phase - and there’s no guarantee that will happen. But I still think you have to be optimistic if you are an England fan. They now have 10 months to build on their recent win over Australia, and home advantage could be the key next year."

If South Africa beats New Zealand....and there's no reason why they can't, then I would favour South Africa over England that's if England beats Ireland. I have no idea how South Africa would fare against Ireland but right now there isn't a great deal England offers in way of dynamics to beat South Africa, if anything there isn't any difference between  two very physical sides whose pattern of play is much of a muchness.

The Poms are banking on matfield and a few other mad selections by Meyer who has clearly lost the plot.  One only can hope that thsoe needing to be there outpaly theier rivals by some 50% or so and just maybe Meyer will notice them. I fear though if matfiled is able to merely walk he will captain the team.

 Get into the Final and we'll win it, I'm sure of it. The Boks aren't chokers like their cricketing brothers. However, getting to the final is the hardest thing, especially with the juggernaut that is the All Blacks on the way.

Close the game down....force Cruden to kick the ABs into the final ....and we have a great chance. Blow 14 early points by being "adventurous"  and there is no way back.

 

 

Our best pack can beat the Poms....they don't have the big personalities to win the RWC.

With Meyers pathetic selections and out of touch game plan we won't beat Oz, England or Wales in the quarters.
