Leads 6-5 - but the playing conditions are very poor.   Conditions can equalize the game to a large extent.

However, the All Blacks did not cover themselves in glory - too many handling errors.   Too many penalties on both sides.   However, not really a showpiece.

Think the wind will favour the Argentinians in the second half - but I still think the All Blacks should win by at least 15 points.   Cannot see the Argentinians keep up their level of defence in the second half.

Yes we still have the second half to go. However the abs have been humiliated  by this first half. At home with the wind behind them they had the worst of the half. abs have been made to look ordinary. If Argies can keep up the pace  - something they are perhaps not yet used to - they may get a win. We shall see,

What is certain is the Argies are no push overs. I tried to tell the oaks to give some credit to the argies rather than going way over the top in berating the Boks ad nauseum.

It is laughable some oaks think Daniel is they type of foward you want against the Argies. In addition they missed the hard graft put in by Potgieter who Planet Rugby rated as our best loose forward.  But in the end it was all Morme's fault. Bwahhahahaahhahahahhahahaha the egg lands.

Mike the Argies defence against us was excellent for 80 minutes. It all depends now on fitness levels.

Just accept the facts guys the Argies were not given due credit.

I trust the very pessimistic Mike who rates our chances against the Oz at a miserable 10% may revise the Boks chances upwards - squeeze it up perhaps to 11.5% eh Mike. Hahahahahahaha

Beeno

Definitly not a game the All Blacks would regard as thei best one ever.   However, my prediction of a 15 point margin was spot on.

So why should I change my prediction as to a Springbok loss?   I at least judge the games on merit - not on anything else.

Very lucky prediction. The abs scored one -or was it two tries  - wit that argie yellow. so lets be generous and say the abs won by 9 - at home.

argies need abit of fitness and they are well on their way

hakwa  am well aware the Boks are at this point in time and expext a difficult year

But as for the abs they needed a yellow to turn the game in their favour. Argies were better than the score suggested. abs scored at least one try  when argies had 14 men.

All this suggests a close match when you play Argies at home.

One thing was evident the Argies have no fear of the abs. In fact they look like they are an emmerging super power.

Beeno, the Argies have always been a super rugby power! They beat France in the 2007 RWC and they ran the ABs close in RWC 2011. For the ABs, the Argies joining the TriNations is a bonus as the brains trust figure out how to break down them down. I am not sure their joining will benefit your Boks and I have said this before the season started that we are feeding a sleeping dragon that will rise up in 2015 and bite the behinds of the Boks and the Wallabies. Sir Henry knows all your and Wallabies weaknesses and he will be passing them with glee to the Bargies. Be afraid Beeno, be very afraid!

26-19 to the Wallabies. Rumours has it that your precious hero Jake White has been giving advice to the Wallabies on how to beat the Boks!

I really am afraid that you are right in all respects.   White did comment on what he saw as the deficiencies in Spriingbok rugby - but so did a number of other commentators.   In any event - he has a personal agenda against Meyer - but I do not think Deans would not know the obvious deficiencies - so that really is telling people what they already knows.

There are effectively two problems in SA Rugby.   The first thing is they constantly shoot themselves in the foot insofar as coaching appointments are concerned.   They had White as WC winning coach - but the Bulls wanted Meyerin that position and worked White out.   In the WC they used Eddie Jones to help in backline coaching - now they hav a clueles Lobscher in that position.

The second issue is the reluctance to accept that failing players - playing on reputation alone - should be replaced timeously and that there should be a major skills development programme towards that end.   That leaves us with players like Morne Steyn, Francois Steyn and even De Villiers in the team when they have really not be matchwinning players over the past two years .    Selection also favour the players linked to the coach when he coached the Blue Bulls - and that means that the real potential of other players are over-looked.

The two aspects mentioned largely account for the fact that some of the SA teams really showed some playing capacity in Super 15 - but failed miserably in playing international rugby.  Three of the SA teams were in the top six teams this year - and only one Aussie team - yet we cannot select a team that can beat Australia.

I think the problem lies with certain key players like Morne Steyn.   With him around predictability is absolutely assured and that is the end of the story.   A simple game plan is also a predictable game plan and that is what is killing our performance on international level.   We have only ourselves to blame in this case - nobody else.
