Goodman in that context you are right but in another light it was the biggest stage and accolade you ever reach in rugby...no comparison to Super rugby or 6N or any other.

Yes Andre Joubert was in a different class, I fully agree with that and he had the courage of a lion and incidentally had a brilliant finale.

They are very few and rare individuals.

I am not sure why this is even up for discussion. Hougaard, Chiliboy and Werner Kruger all have injuries and are not starting, how difficult is that to digest.

Instead we have a bunch of idiots on here double guessing and effectively telling us the Bulls are lying on their official website about the injury status of their players.

If Ludeke had an issue with these players form, do you think telling the world they were slightly injured would wash with the players themselves.

The Bulls website says Hougaard has an ankle strain, is that not good enough for some of you clowns?

Rotation has nothing to do with it. These three players are not fit enough to start, its that simple.

Maybe so Dave, but it wouldn't be the first time a coach has used a niggle to ease a player out. What's clear though is, Vermaak has a real chance to grab hold of the 9 jersey. He is a swifter clearer of the ball and crucially in the Bools set up, a more accurate kicker. If Hougaard can't bring an attacking element ala Mike Phillips from the base, there is no good reason to have him there.

Disagree on the service, that has been one strength of Hougaard thus far. His service has been the best of all our 9's. It has played a part in Morne's revival - Morne has had a sharp, accurate service from Hougaard, giving him time on the ball.

Vermaak is a better kicker.

We do need to see Hougaards attacking skills come to the fore, for that is his strength.
