Ag please man, I could make a stronger Sharks team with the players available. Who is that du Preez you have at 12 anyway?
Willie le Roux? Why, because he wasn't hopeless enough for us last year? I'll take the promising young Curwin Bosch ahead of Willie the Showpony any day of the week.
Bosch, Sbura, Am, Esterhuizen, Mvovo, Lambie, Reinach; D du Preez, JL du Preez, Mtembu, Botha, Lewies, du Toit, Chiliboy, Beast. Keep your Northern Hemisphere mercenaries. We don't need them.

How about shifting Esterhozen to the flank? Only kidding Dave, you make a good point we could be much more competitive. But I would play Francois Louw at flank for the Stormers....it took him all of 2 minutes to get his first turnover last week.
As for Urinal....ignore the prat.

Rooi that will be JL and Dan's brother at the Stormers that I have at 12, looks better suited to 12 than 10.
Bosch is a little guy who is going to see his arse physically
Mvovo is past it and kak these days
Chiliboy is as kak as they come and Thomas is not a 3
Moz....Louw has been crap for the Boks for sometime and forget it, he is the wrong side of 30......time to move on.....over rated player who was never a 6......should have played 8 maybe

To be honest I for one think that the depth of rugby talent in RSA is not capable of supporting even five teams that are Super rugby standard.
Sure they all appear to be great at Currie Cup level but are not Super rugby quality.
I would suggest that Griquas almagate with the Stormers and the Cheetahs with the Sharks.
The Cheetahs have played well but are too small a union to support the level of Super rugby talent and strength required to be competitive and the Sharks are struggling with similar issues.
The Stormer, Bulls and Lions have many clubs to draw talent from but the other unions are limited to their selection options.
I would rather watch S16 consisting of quality teams made up as follows:
4 x NZ4 X OZ 4 x RSA 1 x Japan1 x Samoa1 x Tonga1 x Fiji
This would also allow the islanders in the South Pacific to develop the game, retain players with the injection of money from the Super 16 games and be good all round for rugby in general.
Might not be great for NZ rugby but would definitely level the rugby playing fields.
What do u guys think?

Have to include the Jaguares and I like the idea of including Fiji etc. But the S18 is too much of a good thing, The great beauty of the old Super 12 was better teams and fewer games.....full stadiums. These days Super Rugby is played to much less enthusiastic audiences than NH rugby. To make it special there has to be less of it,
