CM I am a young almost 82 and trust that we both have a good few years ahead of us yet,
June 29 is my DOB so perhaps we could both be 82 for a few minutes.
Fingers crossed young man.
66 ..............19 May
@saf.
no I don’t sport an Afro boy.
clean shaven - a girls haven
Draad
My birthday is 1 June.
At one stage I emember Mozart stated thast h is three years younger than me so he must be by now be 80 years of age.
He looks older as well .
I thought Mozart was 77 this year…..??
I repeat James Bnd…double ….(no O’s) …seven.
How are the rest of you holding together?
KC I'm seeing 50 coming up around the bend and while everything is in good order, the joints are creaking. Knees in ankles in particular.
The old Ballie Club :) I am 51, turning 52 on the 11 May….
Lol M...
You should be a bigger a bigger JJ fan than Saffex is.
Now look at that…me and JJ both 11 May…nicely Spotted Plum:)
At this rate I’ll be the only one left in a few years.
Moz isn’t there a drink you can order at the bar in America called a Double 77 or is it Triple 777?
Edit: A Seven and Seven or 7 and 7 is a highball cocktail, a mixed alcoholic drink containing Seagram's Seven Crown, which is a blended whiskey, and 7 Up, which is a lemon-lime soft drink. It is typically served with ice.
My late dad would have been 84 on the 11th of May this year!
… and my late nan Chifundo would have been 92.
Great!
Moz = 77
ouChippo, what do you like best about Justin ...................... the hair, tattoos or music ?
Chip is more into Dolly Parton he likes the old girls
Damn straight Saffex.
you know exactly what kinda ladies I like.
them fatties with big ol booties and doubles dees that can barely string a sentence together.
in case you were wandering why mum left me…
our safe word was ‘“live”.
but she kept saying “live”.
shame. I’m gonna miss her.
Are you being naughty again Chippo ?! ;)
You're telling lives.
Mozart oce told l me his father went to the Boys High School in Riversdale - so he myst have been at that has been changed in the early 1930's whem the Boys and Girsl High schools were combined and the name chanced to the Langenhoven High school. So Moazrt's father and my father finished their high schools in the latest being in 1930/ My gateker got married in 1938 and he was 32 when I was borne in 1942,
Mozart's father was in the SA Army in WW2 so it is likely that he as borne in 1945 or 1946 - which will mean he is very near to 80 years of age,at present.
Old age is having diferent effects on people and someone
once said it s a paychoiogical disease as well. All my three siblings died - my eldest brother was 81 when he died and I am lucky to survive without ny real physical problems bar a balancing problem at times, I went through a mental problem last year that made me feel very bad - but that one I overcame and lost some weight as well. So physicaally I am fine at present - but that can change rapidly and is umpredictable - so I am still a pain in the arse for many of our members,
Duplication.
ah Becs.. if only you knew!
I can imagine, Chippo !
Becs... without making Saf jelaous... where are you from?
A little village outside Northampton

Thanks Saf.
becs, drop us an email flashdakota@gmail.com
Or by that logic Mike, I could have been born in Khartoum in 1943!
Mozart
I never mentioned 1943 - but 1945 or 1946 as potential years of birth,
Mozart with my brth date being 1 June 1942 and my claim that I believe you to be well on your way to 80 I am obviously taking a poetial birth dayte in late 1945 and sometimes in 1946 as a potential date of birth.
However, there is something else I want to ask you about your dad, Did he eve mentioned anything to you about General D an Pienaar - until late 1944 commander of the SAfores in North Africa. General Pienaar was a cousin of my Grandmother, His father moved to the Fee State in 1884 and eccame a Commandant in the Boer Commando in the Betlehem area, He had 8 childredn by 1899 and was then commanding the local commando. The English took their revenge on him by burning diwn the farmhouse and taking his wife and children to the Pietermaritzburg where 6 of the children died,
Pienaar hated the English Generals he was supposed to fight under in both East and North Africa, According to a Colonel Hitshkock who served under him, Pienaar said that they are not to be trusted and he despised them - he used to tell English Generals trying to force him into action that would kill SA soldiers and used the term "Voertsek General" after listening to what they proposed, His special hate was for English Generals who are Lords.. B e it as it may he died on his way back to SA in a plane that crashed and was never found. To the date of her death m grandmother swore that the plane was sabotaged by the English and they murdered him.
So the above is what I learned from family discussions - so you may know something more about it. .
What a bizarre thread.
it’s lead us to places unbeknown to most of us…
and what’s even more impressive, is how Clevermike became Shakespeare!
