I would rather try Nortje at 7, although he, too, might not be mobile enough against Southern Hemisphere teams.

Nortje is a better athlete and player than Mostert has ever been. He too lacks the physicality required for a test lock so 7 is a better option for him, which is where Jake played him at the Bulls

Dave, you are right, Rassie has definitely kept us in the top 5, but Covid artificially kept us as the number 1 team for two years because we weren't playing.
