I am getting itchy - the Chiefs has not announced their team yet

The two key players who may be in or out of the team is Cruden and S-B Williams.  I read in the NZ Herald an article severely critical of Cruden - with special reference to his deviant goal kicking and his attacking play which is becoming increasingly rare.  The article mainly is about the AB selection later this year - so it could not have an impact on Rennie's team selection for Saturday.

I would not at all be surprised if the flyhalf spot on Saturday goes to Damien McKenzie - so lets wait and see what happens.

Insofar as S-B Williams is concerned - I am seriously thinking that Rennie may not want to expose to injury his trump card for the rest of the season as a result of manhandling by De Allende - and that in a game where the Chiefs have less than a 50% chance of winning.   I think that Rennie may rest him this game and use him against the Sharks next week, where he would have a major advantage over the bumbling Francois Steyn.
