I think Dave just does in here what the Springboks do on the field - Take no prisoners.

He has very strong opinions some of which are totally correct.

I can tell you this about Dave and I have never met the man.

He is a Bok supporter when they are up and when they are down.

He gets pissed when they get beaten and in particular when they play badly.

He calls South African Rugby out when believes something is not right.

I have heard him say good and bad about NZ Rugby but I realised very early on with him that rugby is in his heart and soul and I have always suspected that he never ever wanted anyone to take his comments personally or get upset about them.

He sounds like any genuine All Black supporter to me.

I am quite peeved that he has gone and I am not a Bok supporter but I do enjoy the banter with the Bok supporters on here............

It’s well known that Wardad left because of Beeno—he even said so himself. Dave left due to ArsePlug. Was it really worth losing two posters over such petty, nonsensical arguments? At some point they should have just stepped back and let things slide.

And yes, Wardad wanted us to bow down at the AB throne. Beeno never did more than banter and they couldn't stand it. Look at the foul language used towards him, the ganging up in unison and otherwise ungainly insults.

And if you read up a little, on this very thread, you'll see your pals advocating for "being allowed to have opinions". Beeno had his opinion and they couldn't stomach it so they resorted to base insults.

...and THEY cried off, Beeno is still here, giving everybody hell, in his usual tongue in cheek fashion and willing to take more than he hands out.

The kiwis had glass Jaws Plumpster. However I do regret teasing them to the extent I did. They were not able to cope and it may have contributed to their departure. Some of them, guys like Justin were great to have on board. Others like warped dud were shockers.

I do not regret pointing out that their refs were Crooks and that they had a plan to get the Jarpie. This was a sincerely held view.

I wonder if Dave has the humility to come back knowing how sorry we all are.

Moffie has lost several Gimps over the years, including erstwhile Alpha-Gimps like ou Maaik (believe it or not), Baboon-ou and Dense. At least those three had the intelligence to see through Moffie's bluster . . . even if two of those named are still too dumb to see through Bozo's bluster . . . or fail to recognize how much Moffie has in common with Bozo.

I've made some good mates over the years on message boards. Saffex was one of them. The glee that some posters are showing at his departure is pretty despicable. To me anyway. Say what you like about Saffex but he had a passion for rugby that very few of his strident critics can match. I admired that about him. It's one of the few things I admire about Moffie.

First of all, my condolences on your brother in law passing away. I’m genuinely sorry to hear that. That’s never easy, and I hope you and your family are doing okay.

On the other stuff, I’m not trying to stir anything here. I’ve seen the photos that were posted of you, and honestly, if that is you, then I just want to say this, who actually cares?

So what if you’ve picked up some weight? So what if you’ve got a bit of a belly or man boobs? Most of us have been there at some stage.

I have too. Weight is something that can change. It’s not a measure of your worth.

What matters more is that you’re clearly enjoying your life, running your company, doing your thing.

You’ve got people following your business, supporting you, engaging with what you do. That says a lot more than a cheap shot on a forum.

And let’s be honest, if you’ve got someone like Becs in your life, dressing up in a witch’s costume for you, then you must be doing something right...:)
