I've created a thread for CleanCut...
As nothing would satisfy me more than seeing Rabada play a huge part in the Protea's performance at the WACA.

My prediction:
  1. CleanCut will never eat humble pie
  2. Rabada to get at least 5 wickets in the match

 Perth will suit him perfectly......he just doesn't want to get carried away with the extreme bounce on offer from a lively wicket. Just nice and easy, no effort balls and let the wicket do the rest.

Ba-Zuma choked and fell away early. Turns out not to be the cricket god after all. Just another wannabe. Just another poor selection. Just another race based pick.
We were all expecting Radebe to walk away with at least a hand full of wickets within the first day.  
What happened boys??
Was it the pitch ... or perhaps the weather? Maybe the Sun got in his eyes. I know ... he's missing his mommy.
Either way ... he had better up his game ... being the greatest thing to happen to SA cricket ... ummm the world.

Rabada gets two wickets in the first innings....but he wasnt at nearly his best. Except for the ball which decimated Kiwajah....playing with reverse swing, Rabada showed him the swing away a few times......then cooked him with a 145 k inswinger at a perfect length. Fast bowling at it's best.

The dark ninja looked like his usual calm self today. Bowled a few peaches and took the lead when his mentor went off injured. Great pace too.... constantly over 142km.

"Radebe" seems to be relishing the opportunity to lead the attack. His lines are fantastic, giving the ball just enough airtime to swing.

Rabada has taken 5 wickets so far in the second innings, and some of them are big names in the Aussie line-up. I said Steyn was not in good form, and after he left the field there seemed to be renewed energy in our bowling. The next generation is here.

Rabada currently on 7/160


Ian Healy was saying that he has not seen that kind of bowling since Wasim Akram.


He was specifically talking about how Rabada set Voges up, and the way he continued to bowl to him, to end up getting the wicket.


Rabada has a long way to go to match any of the games greats, but he sure looks like the real deal with the records he has already achieved

Far from confused, I know you rate him highly, as do I, hence why I am saying, after another great performance by the youngster, you should be streaks ahead of CC on points by backing him, not just 1 point extra. Eg, below

Kagiso, Morkel, De Lange, Philander and Maharaj. Those would be my bowlers for the second test. So the young lad who "is a quota pick" took the weight of the world on his shoulders and put Atlas to shame. Bravo son! Bravo! Next we'll hear how lucky he was to bowl so brilliantly.

The very positive thing for us is that there are some brilliant youngsters making names for themselves. Bavuma, Quinton and Kagiso. All guys that will be be more than ready to take over from AB, Steyn and others once age gets the better of them. Dare I say it but the Proteas appear to have a bright future.

 Yip, Rabada has been great yet again.
Fantastic to see how well we did without Steyn (and Morkel) and de Villiers.
All of a sudden, our cricket doesnt look so bleak.
we have a number of youngsters coming through.
de Kock, Rabada, Temba, Rossouw

and keep an eye out for Aiden Markram and Jason Smith (and he is also a BEE player) .

Rabada's combined figures from both tests are 12/224


1st Test - 7/170

2nd Test - 5/54


Who the hell in their right mind would ever have picked this quota guy to play for them


Oh.... and Piss Mint..... the "Golden" rule of "Win the toss and bat first"


Clearly that also worked 100%


These two gems know this game far better than any of us do, so I very strongly suggest that you all sit up and take notice whenever they post something again regarding our cricket side

 Rabada, Bavuma, JP, Amla and Philander are all quota players. We are just blessed that they are good enough to make the team on merit too. What would have happened if Rabada did not take to test cricket like a duck to water? What would have happened if JP did not hit form the previous test? He has been poor in tests for many a year now. A lot of what ifs, I know. The Q system does a great injustice to great players of colour and has done more harm than good. It is time for the people and the players to stand up and let everyone in the country and in the rest of the world know that it's wrong and that it should be banned from all sport ASAP!

I dont think that is what DbDraad is trying to say.

I think he is  trying to say that we are lucky to have Rabada, Bavuma, JP and Maharaj in the side because they are:
a. There on merit
b. Fulfill the quota critaria

Which makes it much easier to digest the bullsh1t quota system.

Can you imagine if we didnt have any players of color that were worth their place, and we were losing as a result?
